From 'Bombingham' to Bush: How Condoleezza Rice fulfilled King's dream
The Washington Times ^ | November 19, 2002 | Arnold Beichman

Who would have predicted in 1954, the year of the Supreme Court's landmark Brown vs. Board of Education decision, that in less than half a century two distinguished black Americans (and one of them a woman at that) would be sharing foreign policy decision-making with the president of the United States? Perhaps Martin Luther King might have included such a prophecy in his "I Have a Dream" oration.

What dots are you saying she should have connected?

That there were a strong possibility of a terrorist attack that late summer.

That Al Qaeda was involved with the USS Cole, 1993 WTC bombing, embassey bombings, suspicious activity being monitored by the FBI, suspicious activity being monitored by the CIA, also terrorist attempts actually stopped.

Ensuring that the CIA and the FBI were working closely and intensely on the situation.

Warning the airlines to beef up security.

That is NOT the duties of the National Security Advisor. Maybe if you knew what the position entails, you would think different about her.

What are Rice's duties: To play the piano for Bush?

Buono, il brutto, il cattivo, Il (1966) The original title translates to: The Good, The Ugly, The Bad" Watch the original or rent the DVD of "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and watch the trailers. Conclusion: Wrong again jackass.

(boy my hands are shaking with glee as I write this. I hope I get through it without missing any points)

Listen carefully, because I am going to attempt to teach you how to debate without making a complete idiot out of yourself: I have to confess that when you called me a liar, a moment of doubt crept in. Because I didn't think that even you would would hang your ass in the wind like that. So I did what any intelligent adult would do: I checked my facts. See, I own the movie in its "original" format, so it wasn't hard. Sure enough, when Eli Wallach first appears, the name "il brutto" is scripted across the screen. I suspect that the Italian title was altered for phonetic reasons. The illiteration of "il buono, il brutto, il cattivo" sounds better, no?

So, there you have it: The name is chosen for yourself is wrong. The fact that you called attention to your error by belaboring an erroneous point makes it your badge of stupidity. This is unfortunate, because it is possible that embarassment will lead you to change that name. No matter. You call enough attention to your glaring mental shortcoming that I'm sure the intelligent readers of this forum will have no difficulty identifing the writer when you slink back under a new nom de guerre. After all, "one name's as good as another. Not wise to use your own name," right?

My friend, there are two kinds of democrats in this world: The painfully stupid, and the downright sinister minority that manipulates them. It is no mystery which group you call home.

"God is not on [your] side, because he hates idiots also."

Now, you've been around here long enough to know that Tuco doesn't care for Mr. Clinton -- he has the HOTS for Hillary. Big supporter of hers.

Imagine what the political ramifications would have been if Bush fired Rice for causing over 3000 deaths.

That one statement sums up your entire time on FR; totally devoid of ANY truth.

Causing 3000 deaths? You should be ashamed of yourself; but knowing who your heroine is, I know you're incapable of doing that.

Maybe you can take a few moments, run a sieve through that drug-soaked mind of yours, and explain, exactly, how Rice caused the deaths of three thousand people?

Sure - with all the spending on intelligence etc., there was NO way of stopping 9/11.

Sure.

By not properly doing her job (i.e., being asleep at the switch).

Too bad you know nothing of intelligence, governmenal or otherwise... or else you'd know that your fellow america-haters gutted our country's intelligence-gathering capabilities...

So, based on that, I'd have to say that if anyone bore responsibility for Sept. 11th, it was you and people like you...

So, have a nice day...

The state law also mandated a MANUAL recount.

BTW - I'm glad other people such as yourself are now referring to Empress Harris as the Empress.

Yes, the law DID mandate one.. and the republicans wanted a full recount of the entire state... the Democraps only wanted specific counties recounted... and, in the battle that ensued, the clock ran out... too bad, so sad...

Ya all made your bed, now lie in it...

In other words, "I know you are, but what am I?"

Dude, that's weak, even for you.
