No one is taking any of your tax dollars for that. Get real.

You're a smart guy, you don't need to resort to cussing to get your point across. Stay cool CL.

Interesting concept. Controling both houses he wouldn't have to fear Congressional or Senate action. Course we are talking about Trent Lott here.
To: CivilLibertarian
See? Upon that we can agree.

If I were the Marshall's Office, I'd tell the ACLU and the liberal judge that ordered it taken down "If you want it down, you go take it down". I don't think any of them have the testicles!

Actually sir, I'm a she. It's a Biblical name.
Judges 4:17 ¶Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.
Judges 4:18 And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.
Judges 4:21 Then Jael Heber's wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.
Judges 4:22 And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples.
Judges 5:24 ¶Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.

Thanks for the bump and all your righteous insights.
Judge Moore has more guts than most of us, and I think God's decision is the one to watch.

Bama bump Thanks Jael for the War Eagle bump. I truely love this man.
God Bless him and keep him through the muck the liberals will try to drag him through. He would win any position he runs for in Alabama if he ran for it right now. Moore has more guts than I have seen in an elected official for the past 20 years.

Thank you very much sir. It's none of me as we Southern Believers say!
I'm not arguing for this as a religion in government issue. I don't think the government needs to be in the religion business. And I sure don't want them in mine.
But I do believe that the historical element is a valid enough reason (regarding the foundation of law) for them to happily remain.
They don't convert. They don't preach. It's just a visual on some really good, historical law.
Have a nice evening!

We are rapidly approaching common ground. I find little in your last post to disagree with except for the specifics of the situation in Alabama.
The more speech, the better.
In a manner of speaking that is. :-}

"No one is taking any of your tax dollars for that. Get real."
CL:Let's just say I am representing the non-Christians in Alabama.
Jael: You are not their duly elected rep. Judge Moore ran on a 10c platform and was overwhelming elected. The people have already spoken.
And there are no tax dollars involved in this historical display.

We sure need to pray for him. It would be very easy for the attention and exposure to effect any man wrongly.
I pray that his focus remains pure.
Thanks for the hi!
