He said, "We have to do what's best for the country, and it is not good for the country to have this kind of divisiveness. And he was on the phone, really calling off the dogs. There were people who wanted to fan the
the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest. And he was on the phone asking them not to, because of what was best for the country not because of what was best for him politically. And that's really who he is. Alright, everybody together now:
Awwwwwwww....
Isn't that special?
I sure believe her, how about YOU?

The entire Gore family is well-schooled in lies and exaggeration. Give me a break!

Okay, 'fess up. Who was the dude with the megaphone?

It was difficult
It was just very
upsetting that someone would
yell those things at us. It felt
we felt sort of like
trapped in this
you know, little house with all these people yelling mean things.Ms. Gore considers the mansion at the Naval Observatory a little house - quite a telling description of how her parents have raised her. Maybe they ought to write a book about it.

"He said, "We have to do what's best for the country, and it is not good for the country to have this kind of divisiveness." What is Karenna smoking?

"GORE: I was scared that the truth was not going to come out. That's what I was."

Unrepentant lying must be part of the Gore family credo:
1) There were no "busloads," at least during the several times I was there. The day after Thanksgiving, maybe 10 of us. The following weekend, perhaps 200 or 300. But no "buses."
2) Nobody was chanting "things that we don't want to say on your program." Some of the chants were funny, some quite cutting, but nothing profane, not once.
3) "Buses from 'churches'." Ummm, proof please. I never saw one, and I'll bet no one else did either.
4) "It was well organized." Yes, it was "organized" right here on FR: "See ya at Cheney's house." "OK, see ya there."
5) "Obviously it was out of our control." At all times there were several dozen EPS police between us and the house. People were polite and respectful of the police. There were some cross words between the pro-Bush and pro-Gore streetcorners, but pretty minimal. For Tipper, "out of control" must mean "Republicans who protest."
6) Karenna: "An organized effort by, I don't know whether it was the RNC or it was
it was right-wing groups ... an assortment of groups ... anti-abortion groups, pro-gun groups, they all had their different signs." Hmmmmm, organized assortment of right wing groups.
7) Karenna: "Where are our crowds? .... he was on the phone, really calling off the dogs. There were people who wanted ... real unrest." So, Gore and his family knew that other Rats wanted "real unrest" and didn't inform the proper LE authorities? Interesting.

It seems the Dems never get it right probably because they don't want to. They like to make up stories...

What was good for the country was for him to do what even Nixon and other's before him had done in a close election, concede for the good of the country and the rule of law, the stability of the citizens, and out of just plain class.
Certainly not to create a consitutional crisis. Certainly not running around bending and twisting the laws of the land and claiming "There is no controlling legal authority".
Not this jerk, they had hired the best ballot box stuffer and election cheat in the nation Daly, it had gone smoothy for Hilliary, and they were not about to let all that hard work and effort go by the wayside. They got their masks ripped off and exposed trashy, lawless, no class, mega stupid, rubes.

The DC freepers did a great job. We are all proud & envious that we could not join you.

But they were all screaming, "Get out of Cheney's house," the whole time. And I just remember being there next to my dad, because I went for a run, and I ran back through them, and I was very upset when I came into the house. And my whole attitude was, like, "We've got to fight back harder. And where are our crowds?" And my dad, I'll never forget his response.
Calling off the dogs? Now that is a lie of great proportions! This whole interview was a lie.
First, the Republican protests happened in DC and across the nation and for the first time ever the GOP beat the dems at the white knuckle street rally. The dems never saw anything like it before and their attempts to intimidate others so they could get their way did not work.
Algore sent Jesse Jackson to FL. So much for the Karenna lie that they did'nt want to start race riots. Fact is that the "Republican mobs" of FL scared Jesse away because he could'nt intimidate them.
Do what's best for the country? He held the country hostage for 36 days as he tried to steal the election.

so I got all the boom boxes in the house and . . . I aimed them at, toward, you know, where the crowd . . . And I put nature sounds on and turned it all the way up This is so funny. Let's scare off the evil republicans with cricket sounds.
