And don't forget that Steve Skakel looked like a real a-hole in the movie.

I have a lot of respect for Mark Fuhrman. I've read his three books. This man is a damn good detective. He was the only person convicted of a crime in the O.J. Simpson double murder. He pulled his life back together and helped Mrs. Moxley find some justice for Martha.
If anyone hasn't read "Murder at Brentwood", do yourself a favor and pick it up. I keep up with stuff more than most and it still amazed me that there were so many things about the Simpson / Goldman murders that were simply reported incorrectly.

What is the deal with Dunleavy and the Skakels? Perhaps a bit too much of the "creature"?

Actually, if you read the column carefully, you will find that Steve Dunleavy says virtually nothing at all. He simply reports comments made by Skakel's brother during an interview. And Robert F. Kennedy Jr., son of the "martyr", brother of the recently defeated candidate for governor of Maryland, is to be given thousands of words in Atlantic Monthly to claim that his cousin is innocent.
RFK Jr. could make a fortune writing about how his grandfather, father, uncles, and cousins are all innocent. And there are millions of idiots who would believe him.
