DeLay I noticed on the TV this week has turned into a nice, calm individual -- going to have a hard time demonizing the Tom DeLay I saw this week on TV!

Do believe Republicans learned from the Newt debacle!

This is grasping at straws. They HOPE for a re-run of the press-inspired reaction to Newt. What they forget is those were the clintOOn years, and the press has lost its ability to "inspire" the American electorate.

My predition: This dream of Delay causing a leftward shift in American politics will not come true.

The Rats don't seem to understand that Delay is happy to run things from behind the scenes while Hastert remains the public face of House Republicans.
