He said, "We have to do what's best for the country, and it is not good for the country to have this kind of divisiveness. Yeah, right Al. Do what's best for the country. Then why in the heck did you try to steal the freakin' election? Good grief, this crew will never stop trying to re-write history.
Al, if you really want to do something good for this country, why don't you retire to France?

More revisionist history from SoreLoserman. At least he remembers what the FREEPERS were saying, "Get out of Cheney's house!"
To: alisasny
"....an organized effort by, I don't know whether it was the RNC "
Oh, Karenna...grow up.
To: alisasny
The chant was "Get out of Dick Cheney's house." These Gorons can't get anything right!
To: 101st-Eagle
"...the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest."
Shocking. (/sarcasm)
To: alisasny
an organized effort by, I don't know whether it was the RNC or it was
it was right-wing groups, it was definitely Bush-campaign-oriented effort to bus in people to have a sort of siege at the Vice President's house, and, so, they were all lining there, screaming, and it was kind of an assortment of groups. I mean, some of them were anti, um, were anti-abortion groups, and some of them were pro-gun groups, and some of them
they all had their different signs. An assortment of groups...and it didn't occur to her for a second that it was THE PEOPLE!
To: abner
They are so use to having their union friends organize every single "demonstration" for them, they must have been shocked at a spontaneous outpouring. Obviously they just cannot handle the fact that they are out of the mainstream thought in this world, then and now, and have to find some sort of justification for what went on outside that house.
Therefore, you HAVE to be a hater.

There were people who wanted to fan the
the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest. There sure were...and they were told to "Get Out Of Cheney's House" LOL

"GORE: I was scared that the truth was not going to come out."
He still is.
To: alisasny
KARENNA GORE: . . . I was very upset when I came into the house. And my whole attitude was, like, "We've got to fight back harder. And where are our crowds?"LMAO.
How typical that ABC would keep this off the public airwaves.
To: alisasny
"And my whole attitude was, like, "We've got to fight back harder. And where are our crowds?" And my dad, I'll never forget his response. He said, "We have to do what's best for the country, and it is not good for the country to have this kind of divisiveness. And he was on the phone, really calling off the dogs. There were people who wanted to fan the
the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest. And he was on the phone asking them not to..."Troubling. Could this be an admission from Karenna that she and her fellow Democrat campaigners wanted to incite civil unrest by playing the race card?

Bused in??? I drove my wife down from NJ!! Gore can not tell the truth!

There were people who wanted to fan the
the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest. Is she admitting that they considered actual confrontation? Is she admitting that they do, in fact, repeatedly play the race card in order to "win?" It appears to me that by using the words "have real unrest," she's practically admitting that is what it would have taken for him to win.
And he was on the phone asking them not to, because of what was best for the country not because of what was best for him politically.
Am I reading THIS wrong, or is she saying that Al could/would have won if they had incited a riot and "real unrest" -- and that they, the Dems, actually considered that as an option? That was one of their choices?

It sould be cut. It's full of lies.
"All day and night," implied profanity in our cheers, says he played nature sounds at us, bussed-in protestors, etc.
From the man who invented the Internet and was the subject of Love Story.

" And where are our crowds?"Shouldn't that have been their first CLUE that the people weren't with them, when they realized they had to import crowds?

Of course this is because Gore didn't want to be associated with leftist appearing racial protests...an ugly image for 2004.
Otherwise, I'm sure it would have been just fine.
To: Hatteras
Am I wrong about that? Is that how you read what she said?
Is it possible that they really do NOT think like we do? I just had no idea they honestly THOUGHT like this -- "We may need unrest to win." Stunning.
