I don't foresee these Homeland Security employees being hired and fired at will. The details haven't yet been worked out. Let's wait and see as the two sides come to agreement. The President will get some of what he wants, and the Dems will get some protections for federal workers, althought I believe Mr. Bush will get MORE provisions than the Dems.
