Ya know, if he keeps this up, the value of his "endorsement" will come into question.

You know our Mike Foster, he's a Rat in sheep's clothing.(pro-Steely Plan, pro-tax in general, supported Clintoon during impeachment, already abondoned one Republican senate candidate.)

If Gov. Foster doesn't endorse Terrell, he is signaling her defeat AND quite probably his own defeat next time round.

Fortunately, RINO Foster is term-limited. However, there are no strong statewide Republicans to contend for governor next year.

I sure have lost a lot of respect for him in the past week and I've experssed that to his office in two separate calls.

I lost all respect when he started advocating RINO Steely's tax and spend plan. (Damn Amendment Two!!)

Yes, that is when it started for me, too. His post election conduct can only described as petty and not in the best interest of the state.

"If Gov. Foster doesn't endorse Terrell, he is signaling her defeat AND quite probably his own defeat next time round."So, do you think Terrell will lose this run-off election?
If so, it's a shame. We already lost Thune. A Terrell loss will make it a more like 50-49 Senate? instead of the 53 or 54 seat majority that everyone was hoping for with Thune and Terrell...

Remember the RINO only changed his stripes when he saw the polls and saw he had a better shot of winning as a Republican. ( The Rat field was a bit crowded for the contest to be King Edwin's heir in '95)

Judging from the comments made by Foster, an endorsement could be coming. What do you suppose that's about?

He could either endorse Terrell to save his sorry RINO hide, or could follow through on the threat to endorse Landrieu as reported in the Times-Pukeayune.

I think Terrell has an excellent chance of winning the run-off precisely because this electon is more about national than state or local politics. Without the more important national back-drop, she wouldn't have a snowball's chance in H*** against Mary Landrieu. Typically, the various factions of the state party are cutting off noses to spite feet.

What the HE** is going on in Louisiana? Y'all have an election coming up and there hasn't been a post to the Louisiana Board in 7 days! Say SOMETHING!
I'm coming over to work for Terrell in a couple of days .... don't make me come looking for y'all! ;-)

We must unite behind Terrell!!! It doesn't matter if you voted for Cooksey or Perkins. President Bush's agenda and Louisiana's voice in the Senate are at stake. Volunteer for her campaign, send money, and above all on Pearl Harbor Day vote for Terrell. Mary Landrieu is no supporter of Louisiana values( anti-gun, pro-gay rights, voted to keep Sick Willy in office, pro-abortion, pro-tax)

I lost respect when he decided that law school, flight school, motorcycles, hunting and fishing took priority over being governor. And then there was that failure to endorse Jim Donelon, and the fund-raisers for Mary, and the spending increases,....etc.
As to 2003 and a potential candidate? I hope Tony Perkins runs.

Right now Perkins(Who was my first choice, but I knew he had no chance) is the Republican's first choice. In my opinion, he won the debates. His biggest problem was he had little name recognition outside of Christian Coalition circles.
