Their ideas and beliefs so closely mirror those of Republicans but they allow Democrats to slip in under the woodwork in every close race by making a little noise which is ultimately ignored. The Libertarians in Oregon are more like anarchist. Having lived in Eugene for years, we had real hopes for this race.

Your statement that Libertarians are more like Anarchists is true on the national level as well. If one thinks of politics in a circular fashion instead of a straight-line, the far right Libertarians bend so far that they meet the anarchists of the far left. Both are destructive forces and have much in common.
