Do you regularly post images but are having trouble with your web hosting provider? Sick of GeoCities or Tripod blocking image loads when you try to link an image?

I run a web hosting business and have some extra bandwidth and a server.

FreepMail me, ikka, to get 5MBs disk space and unlimited bandwidth, at no chage. This is for Freepers only.

Wow, that would be so cool. I have been using a profile section of a college chat site to post images but they're reduced to small low band images. This could prove handy.

Here's a tip for those of you guys image linking from GeoCities:

Rename the image to .txt and remote-link it. GeoCities and their ilk don't, or can't, filter remote-linking of images as text files, yet browsers display them fine.

Boy just what I was looking for. I wanted to post some digitals I took of Sen elect Talent at a rally just before the election and I went to my image hosting site and couldn't log on. Lost the opportunity to upload the image because only can snail mail to resolve situation. Sign me up.

Thank you *so* much! I would like this and here's why: I'm with the DC chapter and on some occasions I take photographs of stuff we do. I could post links to them in after-action reports this way. (I realize that with the 5K, I'd have to delete the old photographs and only use the current ones, but that's fine -- our after-action reports for Republican activistm get old fast anyway, 'cause here in DC there's always something new happening.)
