I lived in Northern Sussux for about 10 years, it was very republican /conservative ..much more so than where I live now in CT. I always wondered why the NJ repubs seemed so RINOish. If they ran some real conservative canidates I'm convinced they'd have done a lot better than they have over the last decade. Instead we got the likes of Witless Whitman and Marge Roukema so nobody thinks theres any difference between the 2 parties.

They do now, Roukema retired and Conservative Scott Garrett won the 5th-Congressional race.

It's a matter of who runs the organization. You gotta get the right guys running in the primaries and keep voting conservatives and not RINOs.

RINO Marge Retired, Scott Garrett a pro life, pro 2nd amendment conservative won with around 63% of the vote in an open seat the rats poured money into against a pro abortion rat female.

Whoever ranhis campaign did a terrific job.

That's becuase it was Northern Sussex. Union, Morris, Essex Hudson, and Bergen counties are filled with wishy-washy soccer moms who vote for whom they think looks better on TV. Hudson and Essex counties are also replete with stupid Democrats who vote for whomever the nasty union man with no neck tells them to vote for.
