Source Says Hillary Doesn't Think She Could Win In 2004 Thu Nov 07 2002 09:52:53 ET

In opinion polls, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York has placed second only to Mr. Gore as the candidate whom Democrats would most support for president, the NEW YORK TIMES and Katharine Seelye reported on Thursday.

But one person close to Senator Clinton said she was adamant about not running in 2004 and that her negative ratings were still too high to venture out now.

Moreover, he said, her values were probably too liberal for the rest of the country.

'We need a candidate who can, without compromising the essence of who we are, reach across the values divide, which is the divide that sunk us yesterday, and I'm not sure she can do that,' this Democrat said. 'I have no doubt she's planning to run in 2008. That's the plan and they'll stick to it, especially if they think 2004 is a loser.'"

Women do not respect her..

I wish you were right about that, but there are a lot of (stupid) women who support Hitlery even if they don't like I-XXX42. As for your assessment of Condi, I think she could win an election. She is extremely competent and focused and she is not the girly-girl type of woman that would make people nervous. I'd bet, however, that she would not want the job.

'We need a candidate who can, without compromising the essence of who we are...

This writer obviously has the blinders on.The " Essence of America " will be stripped Barren if this Socialist Wretch achieves her High Goals. The essence of who she is can be put into this context:
Not a Day after Al Gore refused to concede and created a Constitutional Crisis in 2000, Hitlary was calling for getting rid of the Electoral College and to go for a popular vote.Do YOU understand WHY? Please, let briefly me separate the Ice Cream from the B.S. for you: If you dump the E.C., then any big time Liberal (or Conservative for that matter) could just go to the Largest Population States,PANDER, get alot of Votes and win, ignoring ALL of the Middle States (AKA as Low Population states). In a Nutshell that is why we have the Electoral College.
The Founding Fathers (especially James Madison)were much smarter than Hitlary or AlGore could ever dream. Do you remember how many RATS and Liberal Actors said "It's time to get rid of the Electoral College" during the 2000 Cconstitutional Crisis? ( Someone should do a Lexis Nexis search on that one) There were many! It's just one more way for Socialist leaning people to manipulate their way into POWER and tear down the Constitution,Know That!!!

Hey dude... fuggettabout 2008, she's ready for 2004.

She taught the rapist everything he knows.

The dems are weak and she smells blood. The media loves her.

Think this... FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT!

Case closed. While I savor Tuesdays victories, I worry about her staged media events.

Hitler once said “power is the spoken word.”

Give them a good show and they'll vote for you.

Speaking of good shows, if Hillary runs, Elizabeth Dole should run against her.

I think Liz could kick her ass in any debate, and with true grace and charm that Hill could only fake!

Hill&Bill in 2004! Bring 'em on, it's the only reason they're still together. We'll crush their ilk for once and for all.

Add Michigan(home of the super liberal Senator Debbie Stabenow, Senator Carl Levin and Governor Jennifer Ghaholm) to the list of states guaranteed to go to Hillary in 2008.

Hillary has no chance of losing California, Hawaii, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Massachussetts, Connecticut, New York, etc. which is nearly 200 electoral votes, and she has not even begun campaigning yet.

Hillary will chose a moderate to conservative running mate to win the swing states.

Lastly, by 2008, enough asian and latin immigrants will be in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona to easily put her over the top.

There is almost no way anyone can get enough other states to win against her.

'We need a candidate who can, without compromising the essence of who we are, reach across the values divide, which is the divide that sunk us yesterday, and I'm not sure she can do that,' this Democrat said.

In other words, they will lie and misrepresent themselves (and their opponents) in the quest for votes. I think they're also admitting that they have no values and are out of step with mainstream America.

Great sources are No One Left to Lie To by Christopher Hitchens, and The case against Hillary Clinton by Peggy Noonan.

Don't forget Barbara Olson's two great books -- "Hell to Pay" (all about the Hildebeast) and "The Final Days" (about both of the contempible turds)!

R.I.P., Barbara! :(
