Any bets on whether she walks without even a slap on the wrist?

MSNBC said she signed a confession that was not admitted to the trial. What's up with that?

I pray that she will be held accountable if she is guilty.

Prediction? Not guilty by reason of bad acting.

CNN had this up as a banner, breaking news headline.

Like they're going to sentence the Maryland sniper or something.

This rates about a 0.25 on a 10 scale for important news.

Actually, I know people in Hollyweird and it was the remake of "It Takes A Thief"...

I’ll say she walks. There have been several people from Hollywood that have claimed that they have their credit cards on file at various stores. They claim they always just walk in and grab what they want and leave and that the store just charges it to them.

Sounds weird to me but I suppose it’s possible. They claim that that type of thing goes on all the time, mainly at smaller boutiques and shops. They don’t live in the same world we do.

Good lawyer and lots of Hollywood bucks.

Can't wait until this is over with. I am so sick and tired of the newsmedia giving so much airtime to Hollywierd and their stupid petty problems with the law. Just throw her in jail for a bit.

Heathers? What was that? I consider myself a movie buff but I've not heard of that one. If I did, it was quickly forgotten. I move we change the wording to "failure to appear in a good movie" with no qualifications added.

Ryder may have had her credit card on file, but she has to let the store KNOW WHAT SHE'S TAKING, even under your scenario.

Ditto!

It is absurd that so much media attention is being focused on this trial. MSNBC having a full scale panel discussion of the matter.
