I do not. Most people are never prosecuted for felonies for such crimes. I personally know of a police officer who was never charged and agreed to make restitution.
Ms. Ryder has psychological problems which I hope she addresses. Many times people shoplift because of mental issues and not because of financial hardship.
This was overzealous piling on by the Los Angeles D.A. to try and make up for Gil Garcetti's utter castration in the O.J. trial.
Besides, my good friend from college dated her while she was filming "Heathers", and said she was a tiger in bed and a very sweet and loyal person, so I do have a bias, and wish her well. But she has problems, for sure.
