Grampa Dave just beat me to it, but I want to thank each of you for the hard work and inspiration over these past few months. You often faced a lot of adversity from those here who should have been supporting you but instead chose to criticize and berate. Yet you persevered and demonstrated that Simon could indeed give Davis a run. He did not win by 10-14 points as the media and the Davis camp kept telling us he would. And if so many conservatives and Pubbies hadn't given up so prematurely, who knows what could have happened? But you can still be proud of your efforts!

Well our thanks go to you for supporting the CA GOP conservatives. Like I have already stated. Simon may be lucky not to have to fix the Dimwit mess. Let the Dimwit continue to dig his own grave and four years from now we can all kick the dirt in over his political grave. Good riddance! The Terminator in '06!

I'm heartbroken, but not surprised. It would've taken a miracle for Bill Simon to win against the Davis financial juggernaut, not to mention the disgusting lamestream media.
Having said that, Simon did a lot better than people anticipated. I'm already thinking about 2004 - anyone think he might have a chance against DiFi?

Thank you, and you and others deserve kudos as well. The big question is, how much will Gray Davis raise our taxes by? How long will it take before property values start declining? What's going to happen to Prop. 13? How many people are going to say, screw it, I'm outta here?
