To reduce the amount of information per refresh, perhaps everyone should set their "Thread Pagination" to 20 per page. Most likely everyone will be refreshing alot, and that will reduce the bandwidth some.

I'm getting a good feeling here in Hawaii. We're not registered here (vote in Texas) but have donated to the Lingle campaign, all very well done with offers of rides to the polls, etc. We've gotten 3 phone calls from the Republican side, none from the Democrats.

Oops - should say all the phone calls were very well done. I edited in the wrong spot.

Look at the bright side. Think of how much fun it'll be to type "Foreskin Bowles" for the next six years.

I agree, though they're all cliff-hangers and a valid discussion nonetheless.

Hugh Hewitt is also urging Colorado folks to ignore any initial totals there because supposedly Allard has 100,000 votes in the absentee bag, something that could swing another 3-4% after all the votes are counted tonight.

Consolidated election reporting ping:
"Stay tuned tonight to your network of record for the truth
in the returns coast to coast, border to border, sea to
deep blue, shining sea.
This...is Free Republic."

Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

..suicide watch..

You nailed it, was just watching Britt on Fox talking with Juan Williams, while he is making statements about the tough fight for senate going on between Sanchez and Kirk.

Of course we know Sanchez is running for gov. Do they just keep him around to laugh at behind his back or are they making sure they conform to affermative action requirments?

Yes, palmer--
The senate section was crossed out (with pen, no less) and we were given a separate ballot, just for the senate race, which will be hand counted.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Words of encouragement anyone?

Jaun Williams said this election is not a referendum on Bush and a loss for the Senate would not be personal.

A question. In 2004 what is the re-election breakdown by party in the Senate for 2004? The last 2 cycles saw the pubs with lopsided numbers, should be the dems turn to put up more incumbents.
