I hope high voter turnout is good for California's gubernatorial race. I am irritated because everybody keeps saying Simon doesn't have a chance and votes haven't even started to be counted yet! Davis has already bought the position? I just wish the pundits would SHUT UP ALREADY ABOUT CALIFORNIA! Grrrrrrrrrr. GO, SIMON!! For victory & freedom!!!

I was sixth in line at ten to 7. There was a long line behind me. (Maplewood) Voted about 9:30 in CT. Very light at that hour. Took great pleasure in voting against Rosa - two bagger - DeLauro. Wish she'd just depart.

"(I go straight to the kitchen, make my coffee, and sit in front the computer, starting my day with FR......now, THAT must be weird!) :)Let's put it this way............I hit the gym 1/2 mile from my house every morning at 0530 (with The Lovely Wife). To get up, throw on some workout clothes, and go a half-mile.......what time would you guess I arise? :)
That's right: 0450. Why? To do EXACTLY what you do.......hit the kitchen, grind some fresh beans, make the coffee, hit FR and see what I missed overnight.....all prior to heading out for my workout. If you're "weird", I must be at least as weird. :)

Me too, first thing is switch on Fox, (or CNN if it's before 6 am) and then up to FreeRepublic.com for an update.....

By midnight you would have become a registered democrat voter that selected the demon candidate of choice about 12 times (or however many it takes for the dem to win) At least I would have been back together with a couple of my favorite dogs who would also be voting.

I saw on the TV news that there was Presidential Election level turnout in the Florida Panhandle. THAT's GREAT FOR JEB! Heavily Republican with military bases.

Somehow I'm thinking that McCauliffe isn't quite up to the task.

It sounds like there might be around 65,000 of us who follow the same morning routine (minus the exercise part of course).

what time would you guess I arise? :) . . . That's right: 0450 You got me beat, by a long way, my friend. (I'd be as weird as you, lol, but there ain't no way I could get up that early.....I'd sleep right through the alarm, and that's the very truth.)
Crossing my fingers we take the Senate!
