It's not even 9:00 AM, and I have the shakes waiting for results. If anybody has any early results, post 'em here.
Voting in my location in NJ was pretty heavy. At 7:00 AM there were already 5 of 8 lines filled in on the signature cards at my precinct.

We live in southern IN (greater Louisville). The polls here in Indiana close at 6:00.
On one of the cable news shows - I heard the other day - that since the polls close at 6:00 - Indiana would be the place to watch!!!
Also - we get Louisville tv and radio here in southern IN - and the 3rd district in KY is VERY tight - with Anne Northup (R) against Jack Conway (D). That one will be very interesting to see. Anne, I believe, is running for her 3rd term - but this race is VERY tight.
I'll be watching that one for all of you, too.

Great idea! Thanks. I wish someone who knows how would start a posting for any illegal or suspicious voting in all states.

I don't think there's enough room to do that.

Turnout is very light in Central Ohio. No real compelling races. I hope Janeway's husband is thumped.
I hope the sheeple look at the way Daschle has run the Senate and vote accordingly. He has tried to rule like he has a 60 vote majority instead of the brokered way he became majority leader. You would think someone with a razor-thin majority would be less arrogant.

It's going to be a long week...
I expect that soon the conversation here is going to change to debate about the election lawyers...

You shouldn't even worry about it yet. It is WAY too early yet. Lots of people don't vote until after noon or after work.

I just saw Tony Snow on Fox and friends about a half hour ago talking with Steve the weather guy. They reported that a court in Maryland said it was okay for the Dems to give potential voters 'walking around money' but they could not tell them who to vote for.

AND TO ALL FLORIDA VOTERS THIS IS A MUST:
YOU MUST VOTE OUT FLORIDA SUPREME COURT JUSTICE HARRY LEE ANSTEAD!!!!
He's one of the idiots that created the Algore mess in 2000. Get rid of this bum.

Living in Basel, Switzerland; voted absentee over a month ago; NC; for Dole and all Republican office seekers. Spouse voted also...same choices.
"Failure to the dems!"

You are probably right. There is already so much fraud going on, but wouldn't it be great if we could catch the lawbreakers this time around???

The signature cards I could see, all the signatures matched up.
Does anybody know if they are open to public inspection in the State of NJ?

I hear you. I told my wife that tonight is like the Super Bowl for geeks like me.
I looked at your profile page, and I hope you have a new screen name tomorrow.
Voted at 7.05 this morning in Maryland just after polls opened. HEAVY turnout. weather is terrific.
Only negative, large number of referendums to check off so wait was about 15 minutes.
God Bless America. Most of the world does not have the priviledge of voting in a real election like I did this morning.

They also said that the Dems were fighting the GOP's efforts to have police check for voter fraud ( I think this was still in Maryland). They said that the voters would be intimidated. My first thought was, only if they are doing something wrong.
But take heart, I believe that the voter turnout will be low for dems this year. They really aren't that motivated to vote in the first place. The walking around money they said ranged from $75-100. The Dems have been complaining about having no money for months now.

I hope someone is tracking all the cheating the Demoncrats are doing. I already reported a post by someone on another board. This person claimed to be a nursing home admin and said that they register all the patients to vote and fill out all the absentee ballots for the dems! This person could be lying, but they said they were in the northern part of Florida, so I thought it may catch someone's attention.
