Voted at 9:30. Very few people around, had it not been for the busload of seniors from a retirement village, there would have been more poll workers (and outside the door campaigners) than voters. I had no wait whatsoever.

I voted at 11:00 here in Winter Park, FL. (Orange County) No lines when I was there, just a steady stream of people. My husband voted at 7:00 and said there were about 100 people there. This is a strong Republican district.

Voted a couple hours ago, just didn't have a chance to post til now. My voting station was steady but quiet as usual, but no doubt it's much busier in the evenings. I live in a Republican County here in NJ (yes they DO exist!) and most people probably work for a living. :)
One cool thing - my five year old was with me, she always is, I figure it's a little bit more homeschooling with regard to government etc - she knows that this election we are "picking people to run NJ" as opposed to the last time when we "picked President Bush" - who, by the way, she can pick out of a lineup no problem. We're working on VP and other cabinet members, ha.
Anyway, the elderly crew that runs our district table every time was there as usual, and one of them asked her if she was going to vote and she said, "No, I need to wait until I am 18 years old before I can vote." And they kind of collectively said WOW. I was so proud. :)

Little over an hour ago, voted straight Republican ticket here in "Old Hangtown", located in one of the last "free" counties, in an otherwise "Slave" state. Go Simon, Go!!

Just voted here in AZ. Straight Repub. ticket. Matt Salmon for Gov. and JD Hayworth for Congress. We were #81 and 82 by 10:30 (there were only 82 voters total in our precinct for the primary.)

bttt and good for you! I'm sick with a cold but I forced myself to cover my precinct with signage after I voted and noticed how lame McBride's signs were. Some dem signs don't even state that they are democrats. Oh, the shame of it all. lol
I'M DOING SOMETHING NEW TONIGHT. I'M MIMING AT THE TV SINCE I HAVE NO VOICE LEFT.

I found out that my municipality was now represented by Curt Weldon again, instead of the evil Bob Brady. It was the only bright spot in a day on which Rendell, sadly, will sweep PA.
I voted straight Republican and against some pork-barrel bond issue.

Well, some good news to start the day, eh?
Rendell=Evil Clinton person. God save us from them all!

The Pony Express has just arrrived from northwest Wyoming. At 10000 MST we both went and voted straight Republican, except for one Libertarian running for county commissioner.
Governor - Eli Bebout (R)
U.S. Senator - Mike Enzi (R)
Congressional Rep at Large - Barbara Cubin (R)
The polling place had probably 40 voting booths and two counting machines. Here in Wyoming we use the 'connect-the-arrow' method which seems to work good. When I fed my ballot into the counter, I was the 312th vote for that counter, so I would surmise that the other counter held a similar number. There were approximately 300 people in the polling place in various stages of voting. It looks like a Republican sweep for Wyoming!
GO GOP!

My husband, my son and I all voted this morning...straight GOP in Butler Co. KS for Sen. Pat Roberts, US Rep Todd Tiahrt, and Tim Shallenburger (Gov) among others. My 16-yr-old daughter voted by volunteering countless hours since Sept. to Todd Tiahrt's re-election campaign:^)

Voted for Tate and against Jim "let's beat up the 8 year old!" Moran in Northern Virginia and against the stupid sales tax hike. Wish there weren't so many brainless government employees in my neck of the woods.

Mrs. Kahuna and I were at the precinct at opening and we proudly cast our votes for the first Republican Governor in Hawaii in 40 years, Linda Lingle!

Just voted in Avon Park, Florida and did so with a straight Republican ticket. At 11:30 a.m., over one third of registered voters in precinct had voted. Precinct is composed of retiress for the most part.
Go Jeb!
To: Dales
My husband and I both voted (R) this morning in Southern Illinois.
To: Dales
My wife and I both voted.
Not "straight-ticket", but instead took the pleasure in voting for each Republican candidate individually.
(Also voted "NO" on the proposals that raise taxes)
