Hello all. My wife and I voted for Bob Erlich for Maryland governor this a.m. Did our standard election day breakfast at IHOP afterward and went into work. We're looking forward to retiring KKT from the statehouse.

Voters #93 and #94 in a precinct 40 miles east of Pittsburgh. Both of us straight Republican (even though I'm still registered as a Democrat). Turnout light with as many poll workers inside and elictioneers outside as voters.

REPORTING FROM PINELLAS COUNTY. I sent my mom post haste to vote with a neighbor lady due to my cold. The neighbor lady complained the whole way and back that they went too early. Mom told her that neighbor lady picked the time. She was okay then.
I decided I felt well enough to make it to the precinct before the lunch crowd. I noticed what cheesy signage the McBride camp is using. I'm not sure if their signs will hold up all day without blowing down. lol
I ALSO NOTICED THAT JEB WAS NOT THERE, CHARLIE CRIST, CHARLES BRONSON AND JUDGE BROWN. Their signs are THERE NOW and I came home to MIME at the tv once the polls close. My voice is gone from all the Waves and Rallys.
More importantly OUR VOICES WILL BE HEARD TODAY WHEN THE RETURNS COME IN. You all have done a great job. And, get your pals to visit Free Republic. Jim Robinson, thank you for this great forum where we learn, share and do important work for the cause! FV

I voted a straight Republican ticket in Illinois..... The Democrats are working hard in my district, but it looks like a heavy Republican turnout for today.

I was curious about Miami ~ Dade . What you posted is good news . It's tough to screw up a touch screen but many of us are keeping a close eye out for the usual suspects .

Voted in Atlanta at about 8am. North Atlanta and it was just starting to rain as I got within a hundred yards of the polling place at a traffic light.
Line went very fast, but was about 30 people (about a 10 minute line).
Touch Screen Computer voting in North Fulton County in Atlanta.

Voted for Ehrlich in MD! (And all the other Repubs)

Here in central Fairfax County Virginia, I often feel I am surrounded by rats, but NO rats ran for either the Senate (against John Warner) or the House (against Tom Davis). I just had to ask for a sample rat ballot as a souvenier. Their sample ballot wants me to vote for all the tax increases and bond referenda (what a surprise), but has no recommendations for the two elected offices.
It be be wonderful if the same could be said next year when the State General Assmebly, the Board of Supervisors, and the School Board are all up for grabs.

I hope you don't have to worry too much about us up here. The lines were heavy this AM and I think I'll drive by the polling place at lunch to take a look.
It took Jessica Lange and a washed up Soul Asylum to get what I thought was much less than 1000 people to listen to the Mondale rally. Coleman rallies around the state last night were packed to the rafters.
No overconfidence, but I'm feeling pretty damn good.

Voted absentee for Simon and other repubsGod Bless you! GO SIMON!! GO GOP!!!!
To: Dales
Very heavy turnout, despite the rain here at an 85% Republican polling place. I split the vote between Republicans and Constitutional Law. For a Judge position, unopposed by a Republican, (only a demokrat runing) I wrote in 'Roy Bean'.
Neo-Conservative Repub, Jim DeMint, did not get my vote. Any and all Repub turncoats who did a 180 degree on the Confederate flag, did not get my vote.

That is very good to hear; perhaps they are getting to the point where no sane person will run on their "agenda??"
