My wife and I voted for Lamar Alexander to take over Fred Thompson's vacated seat, Van Hilleary for Governor, and we voted NO on the Lottery.

Voted straight Republican for the first time in a LONG time.

Turnout was high, which should be a good sign since we're in a conservative area.

I'm spending the day in prayer..... that God will be glorified, and that TRUTH will prevail.

I was second at the polls, usually I'm first. They moved them from the normal school due to a teacher's strike. Of course us being the most conservative part of town and loaded with private school kids, and them having a school levy and a bunch of taxes on the ballot, they put us in the middle of a construction zone. It's going to be a fiasco later in the day. Both me and the councilman suspect this was intentional. Of course I wore my "Vote Republican" sticker in....LOL.

Nothing really to get excited about in this area. No Libertarian candidates which suprised me (usually in an election that's no contest I will vote for them) so I ended up voting straight Republican. In Ohio, the Republicans should sweep statewide again, the only things questionable are the Supreme Court races where the unions are trying to put their people in with typically filthy campaigns. Issue One is an initiative that requires treatment not jail for first time drug offenders, and of course I voted for that. >:)

First in line at 6:15 today in my precinct to vote in Tennessee. I talked to one of the workers (heavy Republican precinct) who told me 783 out of 3100 registered voters had voted early. That’s a 25% early voter turnout. Anyway it was 51 degrees and raining, yet there was a line of maybe 100 people when I left the poll at 7. I hope this is an indication of the anxiousness of Republican voters nationwide to come out in force today.

One thing I want to know: how does Republican turnout look in the I-4 Corridor? West Florida? Northeast FL?

Howzabout the Panhandle? Rain forecast up there. Not that it will stop us from charging the polls.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Voter #8 in precinct 19r in Cuyahoga County OH (Cleveland).

Can't believe we're still using punch cards after the debacle in Florida. The result of years of Democratic control on the local level.

I'm 35, and I can't remember ever being so psyched about casting my ballots for Republicans and, especially, against the evil fear-mongering, traitorous, deceptive Democrats (Hagan and Kucinich).

Heard Rush say yesterday "We meet at dawn", and I was there today.

Voted this morning at 7:20 in Holt, Michigan. Pretty sizeable crowd, had to park a block away from the school and waited in line for about 15 minutes. Pretty good turnout for my precinct.

Straight-ticket GOP, Dick Postumus for Governor, Mike Rogers for U.S. Congress. Also voted "No" on all ballot proposals.

I just voted in Florida to re-elect Congressman John L. Mica. I voted for some guy named Jeb for governor. I think he's related to the President somehow.

OH, and I voted not to retain the two Florida Supreme Kangaroo Court Justices.

Coastal Georgia reporting in.

Got to the polls as they opened at seven. There were 70 people in line ahead of me. Weather was misty with drizzle.

Pretty heavy turnout. Especially of teachers. I was in line with two of them who stayed in line despite being late to herd the cats. That can't be good for King Roy.

A very good start to the day.

Voted straight Republican in Peoria, Illinois. The two unopposed Democrats, I did not vote for. The judges up for renewal, I opposed, on the general principle it's good to change officials.
