Michigan voters will put in Jennifer Granholm but reject spending increases. Hey don't ask me to figure out the mindset of Wolverine State voters which seems to be odds on matters of leadership and policy.

At the rally today at the Capitol, Posthumus said the gap between Granholm and him is 2 to 3 points.

It's supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon. Let's hope that keeps enough Dems away from the polls to pull off a victory!

Granholm has run a very effective campaign (especially towards women voters). she is running as a moderate, even though she is actually quite liberal. Posthumus (an unfortunate name for a politician) has not campaigned that well, running ads saying Granholm is too liberal for Michigan.

Additionally, ichigan has has 12 years of Republican governorship and Michigan is known to swing back and forth between the Dems and the Pubbies every ten years or so. In other words its the Dems turn.
