Feminists Demand Sex Toys in Campus Clinics

The Cornell Review recently reported that Cornell University’s health center is considering making vibrators available in on-campus dispensaries. This news comes on the heels of Yale University promoting the same policy via a lecture entitled "Pleasure, Physiology, and Sex Toys." Ivy League feminism is now taking the form of a giant rubber penis. Welcome to the 21st century!

On Wednesday night, the Yale University heath services center hosted a speech by sex therapist Carol Queen. Queen runs a sex shop in San Francisco called Good Vibrations, which, according to the Yale Daily News, sells everything from "butt-plugs" to the "Hitachi magic wand," the latter of which Queen referred to as "the Cadillac of vibrators." During the course of her speech, Queen waved around several models of vibrators and told the crowd:

"It may seem surprising that this is a small selection [of vibrators], but at my store we’ve got many, many more."

At Cornell University, the vibrator craze is being led by Somjen Frazer, a member of the Cornell Women’s Health Initiative. Frazer told the Cornell Daily Sun:

"At this point, you either go online or to the sort of scary and not very woman-affirming sex-shop downtown."

This raises some interesting questions. What would a "woman-affirming" sex shop look like? Does Carol Queen’s sex emporium qualify? Frazer says that one of the key benefits of having on-campus provision of vibrators is that "the dispensary will give out educational materials explaining how to properly clean a vibrator that two women are going to share."

This is what the feminist movement has come to -- promoting the sharing and cleaning of vibrators in lesbian sex. Susan B. Anthony would be so proud.

Some folks are thrilled at the vibrator proposal because it will mean an end to the stigma associated with female self-stimulation. Christopher Dial, a homosexual activist known for his support of student-funded drag shows, proclaimed:

"I think this is a very productive move because the sex industry is associated with back alleys, black boxes, and seedy sales people."

Who knows how many people have died because of back alley masturbation? How long will it be until we hear tales of botched masturbation with assorted vegetables? The horror! Vibrators need to be safe, legal, and rare.

Unfortunately for feminists, the pro-vibrator lobby is causing some embarrassment for Cornell and Yale. For instance, National Review’s "Corner" has picked up the story and readers are having a lot of fun coming up with double entendres ("There is a real feverish back and forth on the hot issue," "This lacks any penetrating analysis" or "What a cockamamie proposal."). Sharon Dittman, associate director for community relations at Cornell, has gone into full denial mode, insisting that vibrators and sex really aren’t linked: "Vibrators or personal massagers may have a broader appeal to those who use our massage therapy services for muscle relaxation. [Using a vibrator] can be a part of a holistic health approach."

If you have a giant rubber penis vibrating against your sore hamstring, you’ve got problems.

Frazer echoed Dittman’s remarks with this bizarre observation:

"Women have some really pressing health issues that don’t relate to sexuality. It’s not just about sex. It’s about seeing a women as a whole person."

Who knew that a woman’s "whole person" was defined by her sex toys? Feminism teaches us something new everyday.

The modern feminist movement has been in free-fall for years, but its influence still remains strong on college campuses. Steadily, its policies have devalued young women by encouraging "liberation" through (i) frequent out-of-wedlock sex with multiple partners, (ii) abortion, (iii) divorce, and now (iv) sex toys. Campus feminist rhetoric is beginning to resemble "Man Show" banter (without the humor). Most importantly, feminism instructs women to be open and proud of their sexual deviance. The movement’s latest foray into the world of sex toys should serve as a wake-up call to mainstream college women who have flirted with feminist ideology.

Then again, maybe college women will react just like Cornell student Sara Jacobs, who capsulated the current state of the feminist movement when she told the Sun:

"I think one of the most important things is for women to be able to get themselves off."

They are women, hear them roar, with vibrators too big to ignore!

The issue is that they're running out of any salient issues. I don't much care if one's chief purpose in life is getting sex toys. The point is their movement has become moot, banal and lacking in any ideas if all they can propose is the necessity, keeping within the aim of social justice, the provision of sex toys. This just goes to show the movement has loss any raison d'etre

Women in Itaca have topless picnics. What may be immodest and whorish in flyover America is just another day in the city of Evil.

I am not saying that schools should go ahead and offer d!ldos to students ...however the adverse reaction to this seems rather one sided.

Here's the diff: No male students are proclaiming that their masturbation is (to quote the feminists in the article): "part of a holistic health approach." What a joke. Every male knows what masturbation is, and only the sickos among us speaks of it as if it was yoga!

I can't stop any of these crotch-obsessed campus cretins from doing what they do, so it doesn't matter to me if they do it, but their attempts to insert their attitude into the mainstream as some quasi-academic exercise is insulting and degrading. It's yet more moronic social engineering by populist demand that is allowed because officials don't want to be called "sexist" or "homophobic."

Except, of course, for the courageous John Silber of Boston U, who recognizes that students' sexual shenanigans need not be officially applauded by the administration.

Why do witches burn?

“…Cornell University’s health center is considering making vibrators available in on-campus dispensaries.”

The first time I read this I read “dispensaries” as “dispensers”. I had quite a visual of sex toy dispensers located strategically around campus.
The coed is returning from the pub with a young man she just met. She’s turned on. She doesn’t want sex with him, but what can she do?
She sees a Sex Toy Dispenser!
She runs to it, inserts her credit card, and her chastity is safe once again.
Of course, on the down side there would be gangs of young men rampaging around the campus destroying the machines.

"The issue is they're running out of salient issues."

Shows what you know. A lack of proper education for women in the proper use of personal vibrators has led to a crisis of immense proportions. It's been covered-up, until now.

Someone or some group has been very effective at disseminating extremely simplistic, but tragically harmful instructions to young women using a vibrator for the first time.

The scoundrels have been successful in tricking gullible, young feminists with the intentionally mis-leading advice to insert the vibrator, on its highest speed no less, into the same orifice that was their boyfriend's favorite.

Tremendous amounts of expensive, near irreversible damage has been done to many a young feminist's dental health and there has yet to be a final price-tag put on the associated, long-term, psychological damage.

This has lesbian groups extremely upset.

Imagine the psychological trauma suffered by both parties when at what was expected to be the exciting conclusion of a 'complete date' between two lady sybarites ends in the lesbian's conquest running, screaming from the room in hysterical terror.

At the top of the list of groups suspected in the conspiracy are the:

-American Dental Association,

-the Religious Right,

-Rush Limbaugh,

-Newt Gingrich,

-Patrick Buchanan,

-the various college fraternities (not the gay ones of course, thilly),

-condom manufacturers,

-Nancy and Ronald Reagan,

-Ann Coulter (even if she had nothing to do with it, they know she's laughing),

and the list goes on.

I know there are going to be a lot of skeptics out there, but just have a look around today and see if you don't spot a lot of young women that have had their teeth capped.

Want further proof? Just suddenly brandish a vibrator in their faces and watch them start screaming hysterically.

I'll bet that happens almost every time. ;^)

Ivy League feminism is now taking the form of a giant rubber penis...Freud was right after all, there is penis envy. not very woman-affirming sex-shop downtown...except for the gay section that is all a sex shop does, it affirms the very essence of a woman.

I wasn't calling woman who masturbate whores. I was drawing reference to an article, damned if I could find it, and a concept that I've heard several times in several places in reference to how the leftist feminist movement equates being a whore with gender equality. The more of a whore you are the more free you are from male domination.

Distributing vibrators and masturbation instructional material at a University seems to be part of this "whoring it up" attitude of the femminazies, IMO.

I think it is a covert way to mentor women in the ways of lesbianism. The vibrator is a substiture for the man. The feminists are claiming that the vibrator must be institionalized so that there is no shame in its use.

If there is no shame associated with its use than certainly there can be no harm in a woman showing them how to use it. Grab a bottle of wine, an array of vibrators; c'mon, it'll be fun. Like tupperware only different... < /sarcasm >
