Is it okay to laugh your head off on Sunday? (Thanks for those - I loved the Courtney Love bit! I agree - DISTURBING. LOL!)

Bless This House sung along with this morning, twice because I love this song for our USO Canteen, and
Prayer of Protection said for all who enter the USO Canteen Freeper Style, including our troops, our veterans, their families and our allies.
Welcome to all who come to honor our troops, for whom this USO Canteen was created.
A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you
The love of God enfold you
The power of God protect you
The presence of God watch over you
Wherever you are, God is,
And all is well.
Amen.
Wherever you are, God is, and all is well!

Give me, my God, what you still have;
give me what no one asks for.... That one's borrowed from the French Foreign Legion, some former members of which worked with the British Special Air Service in the Western Desert campaign following the founding of the SAS by Major David Sterling in 1942. Later in the war SAS crews in gun jeeps accompanied Frenchmen working to make things unhealthy for Germans still in France, so the activities and long-term friendships balanced out nicely.
Following WWII the Legion Etrangere found itself enmeshed in the fights in the French colonial possessions of Indo-China and later, Algeria, and the old prayer was revived. I first learned it around 1965.

Good morning all. It seems FR was down early today, fortunately (only for me) during my sleeping hours. Tonkin couldn't post flowers or transportation before he went to work, but will upon his return. These will have to tide us all over.

"Servicewoman and serviceman: Remember: God is only a prayer away."And something for each of us to remember also. Chap Grant, thank you so much for today's message. And thank you for being the USO Canteen's Chaplain.

Johnny, this poem is beautiful. Thank you for writing it and sharing it, and Snow Bunny, thanks for posting it again on this Sunday of Prayer for the Troops and our President Bush.

TIME IS RUNNING OUT.
MASH THIS, LISTEN TO CHRISTINA AGUILERA,
AND NAME THAT CAR TO WIN A PRIZE!

It was rolling rolling rolling rolling for at least a couple minutes. Everything that is hanging was swaying and swaying and swaying. Close to the last one. No problem here, but I've never been in one that was so long. I'm listening to ham radio reports from all over the state. One near Fairbanks reports some broken dishes and spaghetti sauce all over the floor. One reports being on a 4-wheeler that moved all over the road.

Yes my team won. I was at the new stadium in Foxboro today. It is quite impressive! The waiting list for season Tickets is around 50,000 I am told. By the time I can afford them my number should be called. I must remember to get my name on that list!

Disclaimer! I don't speak Spanish, and I have NO IDEA what that tune is about! I posted the wrong link. It was supposed to be
THIS ONE. LOL!
P.S. This would not be an issue if I trusted Christina Aguilera to keep it clean. : )
