I woke up this morning. That was scary enough.

Halloween 1962. I went over to Georgian Court at Douglass College to celebrate Halloween and play some bridge. I attended Rutgers Univ across town. We were going to play bridge and since our 4th was late I decided to read palms. Everyone was in costume and I was dressed as a warlock. I had read a book on palmistry and just kinda winged it at first. You know, life line money line and I just went with the flow. I startled one of the girls by "seeing her wedding the following summer. She said, "Oh no I'm just a junior. I said that I saw three on the alter and she screamed out. Oh, no he won't! We all laughed at the fun.

Another dorm mate had entered. She was dressed in black, (like a 50s beatnik) and made a disparaging remark about palm reading. She then came over to where I was sitting and sat in front of me, thrust out her hand and demanded a reading.

I lifted her hand and it was if a cold, ghostly hand had gripped my heart. I looked at her hand, noticed a short violent shaped lifeline which appeared to end very soon. I don't know what came over me but I blurted out, "I see a short and violent life. You die by your own hand!" She sprang up and dashed from the room. Everyone was in shock. They all asked why I had predicted her suicide? I don't know. It was as if I looked into her soul. One of my bridgemates said, "Lou. Last summer she slit her wrists!" Did you know that?" To this day I don't know if I had subconsiously been aware of that scar on her wrist. As I said, she was wearing a long sleeved turtle neck and black toreadors and black ballet slippers.

I asked my Grandma, (Italian and believer in la Strega!), and she gave me the evil eye sign and told me, "Luigi, you never again do a reading!"

40 years later and no palm reading since!!!!!!!

I haven't experienced the stuff some others have, but I have always had this sixth sense for knowing a bad situation or something was not quite right. I had it as a child before I started watching spooky stuff. It warned me off from places that were frightening and people. I can think of a few places that I had that feeling about in people's homes and I'd refuse to be near those places or investigate them in any way. It's a creepy feeling though, much like the hair standing up like people have mentioned coupled with an incredible feeling of wanting to flee.

I did Mowav when my friend died seven years ago, I was watching a baseball game over the weekend and the mirror along side the tv just picked itself up and slowly dropped like it was controlled on the couch across the room it freaked me out two days later I had found out my friend had an accident and died earlier that day I will never question if there is another side.

I used to have dreams that would come true the next day for about a 10 year period. I could tell it was "one of those dreams" and they would occur on a regular, periodic basis. Sometimes I would tell a few people I knew well and was close to after having one of them, and they would see the event happen. I quit having those dreams though. I wondered what it all meant, and I came to the conclusion that it's a space/time thing and that some people are able to tap into other time dimensions, especially in their sleep. Otherwise, I'm a fairly normal person! (most of the time...)
