George W. Bush's Legacy of Cynicism and Contempt
George W. Bush and his henchmen stole the presidency. They threw thousands of innocent people into prison without even charging them with a crime. They're gearing up to invade Iraq without bothering to come up with a substantial justification. Now some Democrats and progressive Americans are asking the unthinkable about an administration they increasingly believe to be ruled by thugs and renegades. Did government gangsters murder the United States' most liberal legislator?
Talk of foul play began hours after Senator Paul Wellstone's plane went down over northeastern Minnesota on Oct. 25, killing him, his wife and his daughter, along with three staffers and two pilots

Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy bump.
This guy is good baby, GOOD!!
Postulate for just one second, and recall Marcus Tullius Cicero's famed question regarding murder, specifically, 'Cui bono?' (to whom the benefit?), and it's patently obvious that assassinating Sen. Welfare is/was a non-starter...nothing to be gained, as witness the silly-a** circus now playing out in the Land of 10,000 Fakes.
If the Pubblies were to employ a strategic campaign of assassination, clearly Daschle and Harkin and PIAPS would be the logical top three on the list (might as well take out ol' Scottish Law Spectre (yes, I know that's misspelt, but if we're doing James Bond stuff by assumption, here, it's appropriate), too.
In Tiny Tom's case, Pubbie governor, Pubbie appointee, next case.
In Harkin's case, wouldn't matter who the Gov is, or the named replacement, America gains regardless. PIAPS isn't worth a bullet, but as long as such fantasizing is on view, including it (not 'her') would be a public service. Along the same lines, given our little fantasy here, Spectre should resign or die, just on general principles, of which he has none.
There is/was NO bloody reason to kill Sen. Welfare, nothing to be gained from it by anyone...except possibly the 'Rats who MIGHT(no idea) been scared of the possibility of his losing to the other socialist, Coleman.
Had Sen. Welfare honoured his own promise to limit himself to two terms, why, gee...he'd still be alive, wouldn't he? Wouldn't have been in that plane, correct?
Oh, well, such is life.
Republicans had no reason to kill a Senator who was losing.
I think the Dems killed Wellstone to save the Senate.
Liberal talk show host Mike Webb in Seattle, WA is spreading the lies about Bush involvement in Wellstone's crash....send him an email here
