Exactly...crap. Saying the sons chose the speakers, etc. Stupid. Anyone with any sense of the low life liberals know this whole thing was planned by DNC and the Clintons. Love Ventura calling like it is. I was waiting to hear what Ferraro would say so I would know what the official party line would be to try to cover their....when the backlash came. I'm sure there was a hurry up meeting after the "memorial" because of how over the top it got, their knowledge of the backlash evidenced by calls to TV station, and the fact that Ventura and Lott walked out.

Just heard the MN GOP head requesting equal air time. He said for the four hours the memorial ran the GOP raised over $150,000 from irate viewers. Can you say backfire!

And there's probably more rolling in, too. I sent some, and I read where another FReeper sent some. The Democrats may learn to regret following Clinton and his evil spouce.

A liberal friend of mine said she was disgusted by the 'pep rally'. She said it was the son's fault as well.

Someone should ask Mrs. Ferraro if she would agree that Rat politics are a bit too incestuous, what with these old names being trotted out again, long aftger these politicians "retirements". Add to that Mr. Hillary Clinton shagging Fritz Mondale's daughter (much to the shock of Monica Lewinsky).

you have to give his sons a pass for being out of control: they lost both their parents and their sister, for crying out loud!

When a loved one in my family dies, they are buried with quite dignity and sadness by those that loved them.

In light of Mondale's disastrous performance in the 1984 presidential election, you'd think the Democratic Party would have had his former running mate crawl into a cave until next Tuesday just so people might forget . . .

But to insinuate that the whole dog and pony show was not "handled" from start to finish by the DNC is insulting to the intelligence of any voter.

They're diggin' themselves a deeper hole. I hope they get buried in it!

Heaven knows Sen. Wellstone and I are poles apart in our political beliefs, but the man deserved a better "memorial" than what he got last night.

About three years ago I got to spend two hours with the Senator sitting next to him on a flight from Minneapolis to DC. He was very open about his beliefs, as I was about mine. And we had to agree to disagree on many positions.

The thing that impressed me was that he -- unlike the Clinton/Gore/etc crowd -- did not seem to be bothered to sit in the cramped center seat on the flight... and his wife in another cramped center seat a few rows back. I offered to change seats with her so they could sit together, but he'd have none of that. How unlike the Clinton crowd who would have commandeered first class for themselves and their entourage.

He and I also talked about how no matter what political belief you had, fully 50% of the people would disagree with it. (I wish I could remember some more of the details.) To make a long story short, after we got off the plane I told him that although our beliefs were miles apart, I still thanked him for his service to our country.

I was watching FNN and DICK Morris was on saying that if the election was today the Repub's will not get the Senate(even predicted Dole would lose)....so I changed to MSNBC and Chrissy Matthews was on, almost gleeful, saying last night was a rallying cry for all RATS across the country, and it will be hard to beat the Rats on the 5th........my tv is off now!

The last time I saw Ferraro on Fox News was during the Klintoon impeachment, shilling for him.

Fox has Geraldine Ferraro quite often to comment on politics.

This time she was clearly on a damage control mission.

As she delivered this "explanation" that the tone of the service was due to the sons' planning it, Fox was running video of the attendees, including the Clintons, whooping it up. They all looked they knew what to expect--they were waving like a king and queen when they came in as if they were the main attraction.

BTW, the republican guy who spoke today said the dems had "applause signs". This was immediately questioned by a reporter (in a tone of "how dare you accuse the dems of doing that!"). The guy said he hadn't been there but had heard it from a couple people. Can anyone find out if this is true? I tend to not believe it since the reporter seemed sure it was not so. The republicans can surely blow it by making noise about this as it speaks for itself.

Hmmmmm .. well isn't that just special

But somehow I am not surprised .. Democrats can NEVER take responsibilty for their OWN actions

I wonder how the sons made Bill and Hillary Clinton dance in the ailses??

I'm listening to my local talk radio here in Philly and they are ripping the Dems apart .. One guy called and said he wouldn't vote for Rendall because of the way the Democrats behaved last night

That's wonderful news. Let's hope it affects people all across the country.

So I suppose that all those Democrats who were giving Rick Kahns' speech a "rousing applause" really didn't mean it?

Nobody who just became an orphan is in their right mind for days and days afterward. They are extremely vulnerable to exploitation. Grifters are known to puruse the obitituarys and hit up the recently bereaved.

That rally last night was sick and exploitive. Ferraro's comments are absolutely heartless, callous and cold.

Let not your heart be troubled.

I will bet you an eBeertm that the Republicans take over the Senate and increase their share of the House. The Pubbies are going to take NC, MN, MO and NJ. I think they would have without this latest disgraceful display by the 'Rats. Now I think the Senate is a lock.

Also, Jebbie is going to romp in FL.

Of course, I am knocking on wood.

If she is questioning last nights pathetic DNC Death Rally then there must be issues within the party.

No, MS Ferraro faithfully (and I mean FAITHFULLY)recites only Dumbocrap talking points. Geraldine always has stuck to the script provided, and never, never, never deviates from the approved copy of today's Dumbocrap talking points.

McAuliffe must be in possession of polling data that points to this being one huge disaster, so he sends a woman with a damned sharp tongue out for damage control.

Geraldine Ferraro, on FoxNews, just blamed the unfortunate tone of the Wellstone memorial on his sons. She says they selected the speakers and ran the whole show. She actually claimed that the Democratic Party would never have run it in such a fashion.

She claimed they even would have asked Ventura to speak!

Boy that witch knows this backfired!

Now the Wellstone boys know how quickly they’ll throw you overboard if things don’t go so well.

I tried to watch the interview Rick Falbaum was having with this spinning, lying female and after about 1 minute into it I knew she was doing the kissy pissy Feraro arrogant spin so I muted the TV until she was completely off.

For the life of me I do not understand why Fox has her as a political analyst, she's a boring predictable puke!

What Fox could do is to not put her on, instead say, Feraro has nothing new or informative to say and then take a commercial break.

The woman has absolutely no personna and is as predictable as the stench that quickly follows a fart, as are most liberals!

"PEE-U!"
