The Dems are saying "Win for Paul." This may be the last election President Ronald Reagan is alive for, so lets WIN ONE FOR THE GIPPER!

They should be swamped with calls. I live in Minneapolis and I was APPALLED by what I saw. What started out as an okay memorial quickly degenerated into a rally for the left. It was unpaid, commercial-free, statewide propaganda! I tried calling WCCO and KARE earlier, but got busy signals.
To all you MINNESOTA FREEPERS -- If you watched tonight and were sick to your stomach, pick up the phone and call!!
The gloves are off! Mondale deserves whatever gets thrown at him this week.

Yep, the Clinton//Mondale/DNC political rally (under the guise of a Wellstone Memorial) was a bit too transparant for many folks to stomach.

I need to know why they are busy???

Er, "not happy" about what?
FWIW, I hope you DO win--boy, do I ever--but if I had a nickel for every post like yours before Election Day 2000, I'd be a wealthy man.
We were all--yes I said "we"; I include myself--SO SURE that the election was going to be a landslide Republican victory.
So many anecdotal tales about "Republican registrations up," etc. And all NEARLY for nought, as we lost the Senate on a "delayed penalty call," and Pres. Bush received less than a majority of the popular vote.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. Some of you are going to say "election fraud!" but if you think it's going to be any different this year, I got news for you: It's probably going to be WORSE, as the Dems learned a LOT from the last go-'round.
Bottom line: We have to win by about 5% of the apparent vote, with the "real vote" stacked against us.
That said, Good Luck to Mr. Coleman.

Check this out. The Sinkmeister and Fritzy having a gay old time at Wellstone's funeral...... probably before either of them realized that the cameras were on them. Bubba didn't have time to react and produced the fakey tears like he did at Ron Brown's funeral.

Its time to paint the green party candidate as the logical vote alternative for the democrats that worshipped supported leftist Paul Wellstone. Mondale is a vote for daschle, not a candidate. Minnesotans can't be that stupid if they voted Jesse Ventura into office over a slick democrat machine.

IT'S 7 DAYS UNTIL THE ELECTION. WILL IT STILL BE HER SENATE?
GOOD INTENTIONS DON'T WIN ELECTIONS.
ACTION DOES. ACT TODAY.

Wonder what Monica Lewinsky's thinking when she sees that pix. You think Walt heard the story about Slick and his daughter?

Here is a 'tiny' bit of what happened tonight (from KARE11 Website (local NBC affiliate))
Kahn Gives Rousing Speech
The remembrances turned political when the first of four speakers to talk about Wellstone, campaign treasurer Rick Kahn, took the podium.
"We are going to win this election for Paul Wellstone."
Several times throughout his speech, Kahn begged the Democratic crowd to vote on November fifth to keep Wellstone's legacy alive.
Kahn even called on Republican senators in attendance to stand up in the election's final days and to urge others to keep Wellstone's dreams going forward.
Kahn told the crowd: "We can redeem the promise of his life if you win this election for Paul Wellstone."
Kahn's speech has raised anger in Democrats and Republicans alike. By 10:15 p.m., KARE TV's operator had logged more than 100 calls. It is unknown how many call went to the station's voicemail system.
One Republican official said Kahn's speech will benefit the GOP. He said call were flooding in to party headquarters, with many callers offering to donate money.

Hopefully, the citizens of Minnesota will be as outraged as we are.
If not, they deserve what they get.
This is a big-time backfire on the Dims IMHO.

One would think that if she saw that pic she would reach for the vomit bag, remembering what she "did" to something that looks like that. He ain't growing old gracefully. Nothing ages quicker than an old drunk. Hell Teddy Kennedy is looking better than Clinton these days.

I don't understand why Freepers are saying this will backfire...don't they know by now that these people have no soul? They will do whatever it takes to win..hook or crook. Wake up folks! Don't let events like this lull you into thinking this will hurt the Dems...for crying out loud, we just had a prez getting favors under the table in the oval office and they made every excuse in the book for that sleaze bag. Does any of this stuff suprise you???
