If today's column came with a cautionary label, it would say something like "minefield ahead."
So, consider yourself warned.
And please stand aside as we crank up the Wayback Machine to when Timothy McVeigh was charged with the Oklahoma City bombing, in 1995.

If what's being reported is accurate, Muhammad is a belligerent screwball who's been exposed to the crackpot ideas of a fringe cult. <snip> He doesn't represent Islam...
Funny how the writer follows the *cult* statement with his Islam point.

Inquiring minds want to know why every time their names are mentioned on TV we have to be subjected to the picture of the smiling father/son combo?
Were we ever deluged with pictures of a happy McVeigh or Kaczynski?

Well, let's not confuse silly stereotypes with reasonable profiling. For instance, when he says, "And they don't represent Camden any more than they represent South Jersey, or Jamaica, or Tacoma," I have to point out that, as we were discussing on another thread earlier about nine murders in Canada, there is an unfortunate tendency for people from Jamaica to be into drugs and violence. So regretably Jamaica IS a red flag. Not all Jamaicans are violent, but statistically they are more violent than blacks from Sudan or southern Nigeria.
The bigger load of dog-poop that this writer shovels under the rug is the fact that Muhammed is a Muslim, and Muslims are violent. That is particularly true at the present time. Islamic terrorism is very popular in Muslim circles just now. Looking around the world, Muslims seem to be violent just about everywhere. When they don't have infidels to rape, enslave, and kill, they generally start raping, enslaving, and killing each other.

"What was it, wondered various and sundry CNN eminences, that was making white men so sociopathic? So angry? So ... murderous?"CNN meaning the Communist News Network or now as of late the Cresent News Network.
Yea, and another white/republican bashing story didn't come around fast enough so they could bury the DC murders story so the media made Paul Wellstone a left-winged martyr. I just love how he is a "man of the people".

"Muhammad and Malvo are no more representative of black males than they are of men named John." (Courier Post)
What a joke. Even with Jackboot Janet in charge, the (in)Justice Dept. reported that black Americans commit homicide at EIGHT times the rate that European-Americans do.
The pathology of the black underclass - particularly its last two generations of young males - can no longer be written off. And it shows in a zillion ways liberals can't write off as "gun problems" - such as a VD rate 60 times that of European-Americans and an illegitimacy rate of 68.7%, even when the black middle class is considered.

Isn't the story simply being ironic? It seems clear enough in the last two sentences. Does anyone follow Kevin Riordan's column? (His name is new to me.)

Now that you mention it, the writer also doesn't know beans about Camden, which is by far the most violent city in New Jersey.
