Cheney informed Bush during the campaign that Adam Clymer from the New York Times was an asshole, and it went out live over a microphone. (It should be noted that nobody from the Times or the press corps at large disagreed.) Since then, the FR word for "asshole" has been "clymer".

I suppose that means that the FR word for "pussy" will now be "morris".

Actually it was candidate George W. Bush who called Clymer an a******. Cheney agreed and said, "Big time!".

The press threw a hissy fit about that comment.

Governor Bush appoligized that his comment went out over a "hot" microphone but he did not retract the comment itself.
