Someday I hope to get it back! What happened is I blew the trannie big time. It needed a complete rebuild. I picked it up after a week in the shop and it was not right. Went back in for another week. Last Sat. I picked it up again and it still had problems shifting smoothly into overdrive. Sooooooooooooooo . . . back in again. At least I get to visit it once in a while! LOL!

As much as it bugs me wo be without my baby, that is minor when I think of what youz guys are doing every day. If my car is not fixed by the time you get back, I will sic you guys on 'em! LOL!

I spent 8 years in maintenance, and I could never get the hang of the FSN system. How one of the ittie-bittie light bulbs that were inside a push button switch could be only 1 number different from a B-52 landing light . . . DON'T ASK how I found this out!!! LOL!

God Bless you for serving in such a vital role. It is people like you that straightened out all the misnakes I made ordering stuff.

Alex, I really appreciated your comments and need to explain a little bit of the reasons we OPENLY SUPPORT OUR TROOPS. I was in the Amry San Franciso in the mid 60's and noone wanted to be seen supporting us. The abuse was intense and I swore that no military person would be treated that way again if I could do anything about it. So this my small contribution to honor you men and women that serve. My heartfelt THANK YOU.

Thank you for your sweet words! I especially appreciate your message for my dad (he was a PhM2c with the Navy, serving with the Fourth Marine Division); he died in 1996, but I know he would want me to extend his heartfelt thanks for your service, so please consider that sentiment coming from both of us.

We all had a great time on our pajama party helicopter ride (I did get a little banged up when Snow Bunny was trying to set it down, but it was nothing, really - just a bruise - LOL); next time maybe we can get some of you guys to ride along. ; )

Many of these letters today brought a tear to my eye.
Mostly tears of happiness I will add.
