Well well well. They were expecting 100,000 people weren't they? The news media estimated about 20,000!

My husband and I were walking to the organic farmers market (on Embarcadero and Green Street) and around 5th Street we started to see them.

Many were smelly, filthy, ugly, unwashed, most were those 60's reject looking types. The women! OMG...UGLY! Many were white and gray haired and fat; there were gutter punks (naturally), there were lots of really ugly men. Most had despicable fashion taste.

I was hoping to run into some freepers but to no avail. Also, many of this awful crowd were blatantly smoking marijuana..and smoking cigarrettes (thought the left hated cigs?).

We finally made it to the market. My husband said these people were protesting taking baths as many were quite smelly.

I was at the FReep on the steps of City Hall. We had fun (for the most part) talking with the lefty dingdongs. But you sure aren't exaggerating the general slovenliness and smelliness of the commies. P-U!

I walked through Civic Center plaza in the afternoon. My estimate is about 5000 people were there.

Funniest observation: Amidst a sea of placards--many with the message 'No War For Oil'--was a group of 20-somethings in a shabby bus asking for money to buy gas so they could return to Chico, CA.
