Two Kids Knocking On My Door ^
Posted on 10/26/2002 8:55:06 AM PDT by isthisnickcool
I just had two nice young people knock on my door and ask me to vote Republican. They were 18 and 19 years old. They gave me a really slick door hanger. That has this http://www.texasvictory.org/ on it. The door hanger has all the voting locations and early voting time info. The bottom tears off and has all the Republican candidates on it.
Two very nice young kids.

I hope the Republicans have kids like this going door-to-door all over the place. The door hanger they left has a message from "W":
"In the past year, Americans have shown their patriotism in many inspiring ways. On November 5th, you will have a chance to show your love of country in one of the most important ways we have...by voting". -- George W. Bush.

I voted yesterday. I could have voted straight ticket, but I enjoy coloring in the ovals for each candidate. It's a moment to savor.
Probably half the races or more didn't even have an opponent to the Republican on the ballot. It's fun living in an area where the Democrats have completely given up.

I voted for the straight Republican ticket, and bubbled in each candidate. After working an election, and watching the spoiled ballets, I do not want any problems.

Around the state, there are some areas where there is no Republican running, unfortunately.

I've been giving out these same door-hangers the last week. I thought it weird that it heads with a Bush quote and then lists all the Republican candidates, but the Bush quote doesn't endorse the candidates. It's implied of course, but why not endorse them? He's flying all around the country endorsing them anyway.

It's fun living in an area where the Democrats have completely given up. My, how times have changed! I used to live in your district when the Pubbies were definitely a minority. In 20 years, DeLay's District has really done a reverse; and it's good to hear. Now it's important to be sure that you are not electing RINOs in those County offices -- people who call themselves Republicans just to get elected. Check their credentials before the Primary!

Get out the Republican vote - I just watched the leftist radical crowd on C-Span - and I need to remember to be grateful I live in Texas.

Where have these been given out? I've received a recording on my answering machine from Phil Gramm, and today I received a Republican magazine. I enjoy all of these things, and share them with my grandchildren - raise them right!
