President Bush and First Lady Laura greeted Chinese President Jiang Zemin and his wife, Wang Yeping in Crawford, Texas today. Bush and Zemin will be discussing the situation in North Korea as well as the war on terror. The President also issued a statement regarding the untimely death of Minnesota Senator Paul Wellstone. The flag over the White House was lowered to half-staff in honor of Wellstone. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Hi Rintense,
You really ARE dedicated. I couldn't even get on tonight - finally FR is back. Thanks again for another great Dose. A picture-packed Dose.
So much happening today. How sad was the news about Wellstone. I didn't like his politics, but at least you knew where he was coming from. Not like the "New DemocRATS". Minnesota is going to get very interesting.

That's exactly what I saw. It was really wierd. I have been on I-65 here in Alabama and we have been on that one in GA and I have never seen one act like he did. If he had either speeded up or slowed down some, he could have gotten in either of the left lanes anyway. My brothers and nephew use to drive trucks for a family business in MS so I take care to really watch out for them and if I can help them get out of a jam, then I do it. I have had them honk at me for doing that but never like today. Do you think that he had his radio on and knew about something up the road and he wanted to be in front of us for that? We use to have a CB radio and would talk with them on the road so I wish we had had one today. Oh well. Another puzzle for us!! Jan and I use to have a lot of fun with them when either of us had to go down to B'ham for dr's appts. They kind of looked out for us. When they slowed down, then we did too. Guess they kept us from getting a few tickets!!

Well - third time was a charm. Like the time you and OhioWfan both posted a dose - it allows for more than one "first post" winner.
Now if you were really P.C., you'd post a separate dose for each pingee on your list. Wouldn't want one of us to have our feelings hurt having to come in second, would you?

Not to wax simplistic, but what gracious lovely people these people are. Not to wax political, but what an
accomplished statesman we have for President. Not to be angry with Harry Banannaman, but what a great cabinet our President has chosen. Proud to be an American once again. As opposed to apologizing for our President, cabinet and
Secretary of State. Big Bill's statesmanship and Political accumen severely damaged us then, we suspected it,now we know it. Character matters!
VOTE OUT ALL DEMOCRATS AT EVERY LEVEL!
Thanks again Rintense.

My husband had surgery over in Atlanta in April and we have been back and forth a number of times before and after that. We won't have to go back for 6 months and I can say that I have not lost a thing in Atlanta!!

I'm beginning to see a common theme to your posts.
If there's anything we can do to bring more serenity your way, let us know. You've got a bunch of friends here.

Paul Wellstone was a man of deep convictions, a plain-spoken fellow who did his best for his state and for his country. May the good Lord bless those who grieve. Only our President could be so tactful about someone he had to have disagreed with on nearly everything. I was proud of him for being able to express condolences without false praise or sentiment, sincerely.

Please- go on. Succinct, tasteful, concise, necessary, descriptive, timely, just. There is absolutely no comparison to these blessed adult leaders and the ex president (satyr) and his henchmen. Shout it from the mountain tops my good Freeper friend.

Very simple answer. He has class. Many people claim to have it, but few every prove it.
