Did anyone else laugh as hard as I did about Greta VanSustern's interview of one of Mohammed's Tacoma neighbors?
The guy was the quintessentail straight man. He knew NOTHING. He had once seen Mohammed. Mohammed seemed normal to him. He had never observed anything out of order. He didn't actually live next door -- more like a block away. He had heard gunshots once -- didn't know if they came from Mohammed's place.
It was hysterical -- the tape will become a TV News classic.
The look on her face as she tried to find some angle with this guy said mainly how she was going to emasculate the producer who ever put him on.

HA! I was hopeing someone from here saw that pathetic thing that called itself an interview. Didnt they screen this guy at all, or at least ask him ahead of time if he knew ANYTHING! talk about embarrasing. The goof couldnt even wear a decent shirt, it had something about HBO written on it.....lol

Imagining this, while thinking about Brad Pitt in "True Romance". And if you never saw THAT movie....
Brad is a totally strung out beat nick trying to give mafia dudes directions. Frickin hysterical.

Not only did he not live near the Sniper, he lived a few blocks away.
Greta will soon be having anyone on in the Tacoma zip code to get their fifteen minutes of fame.

I saw that and thought, geez, this guy is a real beacon of information. He kept sort of laughing, which was a pretty inappropriate emotion given the nature of the interview. I then began to wonder if this guy was yanking her chain, that maybe he really did not know Mohammed and was getting a kick out of the whole thing. Plus, did you see that mullet? (On him, not her).

It was Must See TV!

Yes, it was great. van Cistern handled it as well as she could, peppered him with every conceivable question, none of which he could answer. I think she was tempted to ask a final question: "What the hell are you doing on my show?!"

Sounds like the interview today the pretty Asian-American girl (MSNBC) did with the neighbor of Mohammad's ex-wife in Clinton, MD.
Girl: How well did you know Mo.?
Guy: I spoke to him once while walking my dog.
Girl: What did he say?
Guy: Hot day, isn't it?
Girl: What did you say?
Guy: Yeah. See you around.

He ADMITED that he never saw Mohammad, he never talked to him, his neighbors never talked to him, his neighbors never seen him do anything odd. The only piece of information this guy gave is that he heard 3 shots and called the police, and then when asked if the police came, he said he didnt know because he didnt go outside. I hope this guys family taped this interview so the dude can watch it when he gets home.....lol

He must be a mulletia member.

You are correct, he did admit that. I think he said something like "I never saw the guy, I never talked to the guy". Didn't she ask him if he "was hoping the police would come and check it out", referring to the shots fired, and he said "well, yeah, something like that". I guess the police never showed up.

I sometimes teach trial advocacy to law students and young lawyers. When we get to cross-examination, I always mouth the old platitude, "Never ask a question to which you do not know the answer." The tape of this interview will reinforce that concept ever so much more than the old platitude!

Good one.

Give this girl the reward.
I've known some women from Clinton. This is how they talk.
To: blau993
Still lol. At the top of the interview, van Sustern jumped in with, "...and here's Mohammad'd neighbor. You knew Mr. Mohammad well, didn't you sir"
NEIGHBOR: "Uh, no".
And it went downhill from there.
To: blau993
Saw it! LOL!
Greta sounded like a prosecuter. LOL>LOL>LOOLooooooooooooo!

It was truly painful to listen to hear that whomever was responsible for screening got such a talkative, knowledgable, witless witness to interview.
Truly a classic to rank with the Monty Python 'cheese-shop' routine...
