Shep Smith just reported sources say they are "positive" they have the sniper. Please delete this if this is redundant. It didn't look like it was. Thanks!

The tip-line caller told authorities to contact Montgomery officials if they didn't believe he was responsible for the sniper shootings, which began Oct. 2, Bright said. Not exactly the smartest ducks in the noose are they?

As I stated last evening, Calypso Louis has certainly been quiet...interesting to see that Johnny Jihaddie Mohammed, another raging, blood thirsty criminal from Louis' employment roles, once worked for the Nation of Islamotrash.
To: ApesForEvolution
Uh huh. Figure there's a pro-Saddam angle in there somewhere? I wouldn't be surprised.

Two snipers are highly unusual since psychos usually work alone so this one now looks like a case of domestic terrorism.Domestic? How do you figure? The 17 year old is not American he is Jamacan(sp?) And williams/Muhamad converted to Islam which makes him an Islamic extremist. Unless you think that it is simple coencidence that he just happens to be a Muslim convert?

I don't think its a coincidence. They've lived long enough to be Americans except for the fact this country never sat well with them enough to get rid of their loathing for it. When all is said and done though, one thing's clear: this isn't a politically correct crime like Timothy McVeigh and Oklahoma City. The good news in all this is the liberals can't blame it now on the radio talk shows and can't bash Rush Limbaugh for filling Americans' minds with hate. After all as every one knows, black Muslims wouldn't be caught dead listening to a Dead White Male extol the importance of loving your country.

Would someone then sing blues for Allah?

Didn't I hear that this was the son of Mohammed's live-in girlfriend? I thought Islam frowned upon decadent Western sex outside marriage?

There's no way these idiots wouldn't have given themselves anthrax before anyone else.

Watched it live as he read it and worried it my be a trigger for the next cell. I then watched with awe as Freepers found refereces to the obtuse phrase in folktales. I was only teasing about the soup thing. I really did like the LADIN anagram.
PS- did anybody catch the Fox reporter making reference to the fable first mentioned here on FR? Do ya maybe think they keep us on full time at Brit Hume's desk?

As from noon today the Dept of Redundancy is.... welll.... redundant.

Yeah, Yeah, you've had a bad day so blame the Alphabet soup. Next thing, Fox will be reporting a discarded soup cup in the trunk of the Chevrolet or an alphabet in the tree trunk in Tacoma.

That looks like it. I saw this last night and I'm not convinced.
Actually it spells Ladian not Laden,
and anyway, no one says Laden, they say Bin Laden
or Osama.
However I still am puzzled why chief Moose
sent some coded message to the killers
immediately after he had alerted the country
to be on the lookout for their car
and provided the license plate.
Something not quite right here.
Was the message intended for someone else?

I don't think so either, Nogbad. The thought occurs to me that these guys simply stopped trying to not be caught.
The duck escapes, doesn't it? I wonder who the duck really might be? This might not be over. JMO.

Well, the two of you may be right about the acronym idea being wrong. It just reminded me of the Al-Qaeda 9-11 rebus and the possible A-T-T-A in the anthrax letters.

Yes, this was the discussion in the other duck-in-a-noose thread.
You're right that these guys stopped trying not to be caught. They let authorities know that they'd committed murder in Alabama, they kept driving an easily identifiable car on major highways, and they gave up without a fight.
But why? It's possible that they were acting on their own, and that they were simply emotionally exhausted at this point. But it was a strange time for this to happen -- they had just started on the extortion, they'd made more threats, they seemed to be very involved in whatever it was they were doing. And what then would the duck in a noose have meant?
To: SicTransitGloriaMundi
youre probably right - though the reference to grammatical problem seemed reminiscent of the anthrax letters and there is the fact the car was tagged with NJ plates out of Camden
