WMAL: Two suspects came under suspicion after similar shootings in Montgomery, Alabama. Anybody know what that means? Combined with Montgomery County, Maryland, could be some kind of geographical fixation, like the Smiley face bomber.
BTW, Okie01 - here's a link to my first profile, Oct. 9, based on the tarot card - before the issues about money demands, long letter, and other things came out. OK, I said the perp was a Dominican, but hey, Mexico's on the Caribbean too! That's close!

"Wild goose chase" does not apply here.
There is a differential list which must be investigated one at a time.
If this is negative, then there is one less.

Not a stenographer but I used to type 100 wpm. Much slower now but I transcribed recorded statements and dictation for years until I switched to paralegal work. The fingers still type whatever they hear but not at 100 wpm. I can't read very fast though.

Deborah Waters, a witness to the scene who lives across the street, says that agents had retrieved some sort of large object and put it in the back of a van. It's not known what the object is.
A spitoon ... an old engine ... 10 years worth of cans that should have been recycled but weren't ... the Nike sign ... the possibilities are endless.

There's going to be a lot of crow eaten around here when this is proven to be homegrown and an ex-military individual.
That assumes that anyone would give up the Al-Qaeda theory even if others are caught.

Mayor of Bellingham, WA was just on and they asked if the 2 soldiers they are looking for are Hispanic and the guy said one of them isn't a US National (huh?) and then he stuttered when asked if the other was hispanic.
Sounds like the 2 were there 9 months ago. FBI also searched a school (what kind I don't know) in Bellingham as well.
One is high school age, other is older.

The videos were made BEFORE they were nailed. Not from what I've heard, but I may have missed catching that bit of info. When were they made? The only estimate I've seen so far is that the video where bin Laden takes credit is this excerpt from CNN:
"The tape, which the U.S. government said was found in a home in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, and had poor audio quality, was believed to have been made in Kandahar on or around November 9..."
The tape was found by coalition forces in the first part of December in Jalalabad- bin Laden never did release this tape to the news as al Qaeda had done with other tapes calling for jihad (but not taking credit for things.) These other tapes were released on al Jazeera but in the case of this tape, where bin Laden's guilt was clear, where he named 9 hijackers... the tape was made known only because it was CAPTURED. There was no reason to believe that this tape was ever going to be released for mass consumption. In fact, it would be out of character... as I said before, one of the distinguishing characteristics about al Qaeda was that of all the other terrorist groups, al Qaeda was unusual in that it seldom if ever took direct credit and its brochures sometimes advised against taking responsibility.

The have almost never claimed credit for attacks on American targets. They claimed credit for the COLE, and for 9/11.

Do you recall the sniper actions in Sarejevo(sp?)? The illegals could be from the Serbo-Croat category and the sniping might be somehow echoing the evil that went on in that region. The reference to 'your children are not safe ...' is hauntingly like the comments that were aired during the horrific atrocities in the Yugoslavian region.

Ayoob is one of the good guys...probably one of the top instructors in defensive fire-arm tactics.... Nobody is accusing Ayoob of anything. The point is: do you remember the AQ training manual? They're told to get all the legal firearms training they can. I'd lay a small bet that the attendance records of LFI can give some interesting info. Same with Gunsite, for that matter.

No, I just live in Whatcom County and got to know alot of the people from the reservation through kids sports and the fact that the refinery hires a certain number of people from the reservation. The son of the Mexican woman who moved up here, helped out with a football team that my husband was coaching.
The Lummis make no secret that they welcome anyon of Native American extraction, including Mexicans because their numbers are dwindling.
