JUST BREAKING!!! Police confirm another shooting. But are not sure if it is related.

As I pointed out in a thread last week, even President Bush gets his words twisted around ("strategery"), and we laugh and smile (the Rats use that to make him seem stupid). Okay, ebonics is different, and maybe somebody could be doing a "better" job, but I think he's doing the best with what they've got to work with/on. It's obvious to me he cares. Besides, it's not just him working on this...he's got scores of top men from multiple agencies and still they can't solve this.

I don't know, Mudd. They can find out an awful lot about a dead guy. I want him to go out in a blaze on television so all potential snipers get a good look at the mess. I truly fear a bunch of copycats. I want to discourage them. I really hate that the world has made me think this way.

I think there is a problem with the ransom-demand theory, too. But he didn't "send" the note. It was left at or near the Ponderosa the night of that shooting.

We need citizen patrols of residential/business areas around woods. IMHO. Then maybe the sniper (or "a" sniper) may finally be caught ducking into his safe house.

I noted that most the victims seemed to ethnic. Sure hope this isn't some racist basta-d. If he is, I hope they cut the family jewels off without much delay.

The timing of this shooting may have more to do with escape than with media. If this is the sniper, I think this is the earliest morning shooting we've had. He might've placed one last call in Virginia and then raced up to Montgomery County, figuring the police, military planes and potential victims wouldn't be expecting him back in Maryland so soon.

Virtually all roads are shut down. Don't know why they wouldn't report that. What sense is there in having morning commuters joining the already gridlocked traffic?? I'd be staying home, wouldn't even try to leave house in this situation, if I didn't work at a hospital or other essential occupation.
