An Actually Funny Leftist Comic Strip Ragging on Shrillary
Salon ^ | Oct. 21, 2002 | Tom Tomorrow

Posted on 10/21/2002 7:23:29 PM PDT by TheMole

Check this comic strip mocking Shrillary and the Dassman at the penny-stock Salon site. No, it's not usually to my taste either, but this is good for a laugh. It doesn't matter if Salon gets any hits - they're dead meat anyway.

Even in the parady of Hitlery and dasshole they take a shot at Bush. I like how they forecast the republican's breaking of laws to keep themselves in power. Ironic isn't it?

If the person who drew this cartoon thought that the Democrats would be holding the senate and winning the house, would they have drawn this cartoon?

What does the person who drew this cartoon think the future holds? Has the cartoonist seen the Democratic tracking polls?

I will always believe the Clintons had a similar plan (pre impeachment). Perpetual monarchy!

I think anyone cryogenically preserving something as useless as hitlery's brain to be stretching all believability, even for a comic strip. ;)

Can you imagine (you know how history is re-written to suit the agenda of the left)someday spending money with one of their faces on it? Toilet paper would become extinct.

If you think that this comic strip is funny, you are missing the point. They are saying that Democrats can't sit on their butts in the mid-term election, that they have to hold their noses and vote the party line or they will be sorry. Sure they make fun of Hillary and Daschle, but that is why the Dems have to hold their noses.

Then why do they extend the story line to 2143?

The artist is mocking what he sees as a spineless Dem leadership. (just like we do)

They are mocking the Dem leadership because they fear the Bush leadership. They are trying to enegize their base, to tell them that there will be dire (in their opinion) if they don't get out and support the party. Whether or not they like the current Dem leadership, they feel that the alternative will be worse. This is actually directed at the independents, not the Dem base.

Oh I don't know, I see it as a kind of artistic thing,
a "Piss Hillery!" as it were.

I don't disagree with a word you say, but it's still good for a couple of laughs. Check the way the future senior citizen Dassman is drawn to look like Hugh Hefner.

Too right. Did you ever see the Hillary Hair website that used to be around maybe 5 or 6 years ago. Hysterical. More than 100 different hairstyles, and that was long before she left the White House.

There was an article in The American Spectator in 1992, by Grover Norquist, outlining the plan for the Clintons to STAY FOREVER. Since they had already received a pass on their blatant corruption in Arkansas, I am sure that Monica and Impeachment were unforeseen monkeywrenches.

I remember thinking all through 1997 that the pieces were being put in place for the Rapist to stay forever. They had flooded the country with motor-voting illegal aliens, etc., etc. Monica was the best friend the Republic ever had!
