80 million firearms owners hackles should be up and ready to send a message. Get out and vote on November 5. If you are not in town on Nov 5th, get your absentee ballet like I did. I cast my vote to defeat all gun grabbers in my precint.

I live in Maryland--our Lt. Governor gun-grabber Townsend who is running for Governor is having a field day with this beltway sniper! Get out the vote is right--my son goes to college in Rhode Island and has already sent his ballot in.

Funny how when the much maligned gun owners of this country "go ballistic", we do it in a much more civil, law abiding, and peaceful way than most of the democrat's supporters.

After all, when was the last time you heard of the NRA turning into a rampaging mob or burning down a city when something didnt go their way ?

If we don't get a big win this November, maybe a change in tactics is in order...

"Should be" being the operative phrase. Sadly, it has been my experience that only a small fraction of these care very much about the issue. Most of the others are in various states of apathy and denial, and quite a few even support greater gun control.

Unfortunately, that has been my experience as well! Gunowners seem to believe that "THEY" own guns which would "NEVER" be the target of those who want to ban guns! "My shotgun, hunting rifle, target pistol, etc. would NEVER be on the "BANNED" list!"

It takes a great deal of discussion to wake-up many (even NRA members) who feel "SAFE" in their Second Amendment Rights!

It is then apparent that firearms owners need to getout and vote the rascals out of office.

If they wish to make this election a referendum on personal firearms, SO BE IT!

We obviously need finger locks and we need to outlaw the semi-automatic post button :-)
