Why bash Moose?

I wonder the same thing. I went to school with him back in 1990...he seemed like a bright, professional guy back then. This is a difficult thing to deal with. I just don't know what he could be doing different under these circumstances.

I tend to agree. I've kind of wondered if he was really up for the job - and still, I think he is in over his head. That being said - what else should he be doing?

That's not what was said. They said neither is the sniper. that doesn't mean they have nothing to do with the case.

I saw a Bush-Cheney election bumper sticker on the bottom bumper. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what it looked like.
There was a circular decal at the top left of the rear window, I thought yellow. There was another bumper sticker on the bottom left of the rear window. Could not make out what either of them said.

Something really weird just happened by my house. I live in an area full of neighborhoods and considered one of the better parts of Orlando.
I was just outside sweeping the front patio and I heard a gunshot! It was very loud and could not have been a car backfiring or a firework.I ran inside and have seen no police or any other activity afterwards.

I think in the beginning (which seems so long ago) his press appearances were too emotional. People jumped on that, there's also the need for a target of blame, and a little ethnic hostility from some corners.

Now, why wouldn't the police give the note to their dogs that have the sniper's scent. The dogs could verify who it came from.

The night of the Ashland shooting there were reports here that the dogs did follow a scent from the woods into Richmond.

Thoughts here went to whether the dogs were following gun powder scent (I think, I am no gun expert). Perhaps they followed the scent from the note.

If I remember correctly this was later that night or into the ealry hours of the next day.

CNN now reports that both subjects in custody are undocumented workers, one from Mexico, one from Guatamala.

That happened to me once in Wichita, KS. It turned out to be a drive-by shooting 2 houses down.

I didn't see that as the pictures on the news apeared to focus on the left side of the back window which is where I saw the flag decal.

True Moose is not running the show...but Moose is not stupid either. I don't understand the bashing that is going on towards him. I think Moose has done a good job with the pressure he is under. I seriously doubt...Moose is in charge. Strike that...we know Moose is not in charge.

Bumper stickers probably don't me jack on a van with temp tags ---- It probably means the previous owner was hispanic and supported Bush.

It could be. I couldn't make it out. I thought I saw the B/C sticker when they were pulling the truck onto the tow.

as of this moment i've decided to turn off the newschannels, their frenzied and breathless updates are meaningless and add up to one big ZERO....like dogs chasing their tails. i'm going to rely on FR for any important developments.
