My husband and I usually travel with our kids. I would have said loudly to my youngest, "can you count the people on the plane? You can? You must be a Republican then! That's my boy!!!"

Just how long were you confined in the same space with this guy? Dutch Elm disease is contagious, you know...

Mrs. Fierro was on a shuttle from Washington D.C. to NYC a few weekends ago.
Chuckie Schumer was going to sit in the seat next to her, until my wife pointed out that it apparently didn't have seatbelts.
Chuckie then sat elsewhere.
The seatbelts were there all along, tucked under the seat. <|:)~

"The Goron and his lackey toook up all 6 seats" I was just wondering, considering Southwest's policy if the the Goron and aide were a bit overweight?

You folks are better people than I ... I couldn't resist insulting the goreghoul over his flipflop from pro-life to championing serial killing of the unborn in order to get votes! It's no accident that we Tennesseeans rejected goreghoul in 2000.

The Goron held up a newspaper in front of his face & pretended to read it the whole time--but he was turning the pages every five seconds and he kept one eyeball uncovered so he could look over each passenger as they walked by. It was a really wierd thing to watch. My first reaction upon reading this was that The Larch was checkout out the passengers in hopes that one would turn out to be a terrorist hijacker. He would then triumphantly leap up from his seat, subdue the attacker, and become a National Hero so as to help out any residual presidential aspirations The Larch might still have.
When the plane landed, he grabbed his lock-box and was the first guy off the plane (of course).
That was too funny. Thanks for the great post!

Vanity (But True!!!): I was on Southwest Flight 160 with Al Gore!!!!Is it true that they announce that "in the event of an emergency he can be used as a flotation device"?
