Jusus did treat some of his enemies with kindness and respect. Others he castigated and whipped. Don't tell me he treated the moneychangers in the temple with kindness and respect. No "Republican" or one of "Us" would use the term "intolerant" when describing the activities and attitudes of conservatives. To what, exactly, are we supposed to be "tolerant"? I refuse to be tolerant to socialism - which is the core idealogy of the Democrats. I refuse to be tolerant to hedonism - which is the core moral ethic of the Democrats. I refuse to be tolerant to the intolerance of religious ideas, worship, and faith - which is the core religious dogma of the Democrats. I refuse to be tolerant to the mass slaughter of prebirth children - which is the favorite activity of the Democrats. I refuse to be tolerant of those would attempt to destroy the most successful, freedom-preserving culture throughout history by those who would equate it to backwards, freedom-destroying cultures under the guise of "multi-culturalism" - which is the core cultural goal of the Democrats. And while I believe that when it was about his own person or safety I will agree that Jesus did treat his enemys well, when it came to how the father was treated he didn't mince words, he didn't treat those that showed the father disrespect with any respect or kindness, imo.
I didn't say he grabbed them, tied them up, and beat them. I'm saying that he treated them with exactly the respect they deserved. NONE!

The Bible, after all, whether you want to believe that it was divinely inspired, or litterally the word of GOD , does NOT spell out what you are claiming. You're extrapolating and using your own projections.

Go back and reread the Bible ; Jesus DID go after and whip the money changers in the temple. HE also violently overturned their tables, threw things all over the place, and was in no way a wimp about that. No, they weren't really " destroying the holiness of GOD's temple" ; the Romans attempted to and did that. So did both Herod's , for that matter.

Don't cherrypick scripture, nor try to use it to suit your own preconceived views. Using it to debate with, especially on a NON-RELIGIOUS thread, is not only pathetic, but disgraceful !
