The kids are learning nothing but tree hugging anyway.Hmmm, I guess I'll have to modify my curriculum to suit your idiotic prejudices then. My honors English class was going to be looking at Sir Gawain and the Green Knight tomorrow, including some selections in the original Middle English. But I guess I'll have to trash that now.
Oh, and post your occupations while you are at it, so I can make general statements about your incompetence (which, judging by your statements so far, would probably be more accurate)...

I guess the public agrees with me. A kids life is more important than your "honors English class." (Which BTW doesn't say much. Homeschoolers are kicking you a$$, and their moms are better teachers.LOL)

Excuse me, I just got back online. Question. Since you work in the schools, do you think there might be a specific threat the sniper/s have given, directed toward the schools, the Cops haven't let us know about? I wonder about this because more people have been shot in other public places than have been shot going to school. It doesn't make any sense to me, and I am trying to understand this. It is a BIG deal to close school districts. (four of them, I think).

My sixth grader is reading Tolkien's translation of Sir Gawain. A high school honors English class should be comfortable with Beowulf, Caterbury Tales, and Sir Gawain in the original dialect, and they ought to be (but generally aren't these days) getting to know some Latin as well. Modern standards for schools suck, vide Dr. Moose (yeah, he's got a Ph.D.).
