Looks as if they missed a cell in New Orleans!
To: SubMareener
And, if all cells are involved, Seattle and San Francisco missed the diagnosis.

NO - West Nile has been around (at least recorded) since the 1930's.

Looks like the Heartland was hit pretty hard...

It being around stops Bin Loon Laden or So Damn Insane from buying it and storing it in a vile and releasing it as terrorisim?
So you think it is a natural occurance? Interesting.

Statisticly this is over the top. Not looking good. If indeed Biowarfare has been used inside America, as this startling pair of maps indicate, It is past time for Mecca to glow in the dark.
Bit by bit the pieces of the puzzle are falling into place. If this is public, what does the government know and hide?

I've pondered this question often. You live in the NE Ohio area, and this summer (in Ashtabula county anyway) was VERY unusual...NO mosquitos... almost zero. I live out in the sticks, and get home from work often around dark. I like to sit out on the porch for awhile and listen to the quiet. Only once this year did I need bug spray, just after one heavy rain we got. Very bizzare.
Back to your thesis, this scenario is very possible. Fox Channel 8 had an "unplugged" show a month or two back, featuring some doctors etc. discussing the issue. A caller asked (to the effect) what was the genesis of this virus? The panel stammered a bit, and never really had a coherent answer of how the virus began. One person did offer a sort of cross contamination theory (akin to the zebra mussels coming in from overseas ships).
The media hype on this is a bit extreme. 20,000 people a year die from influenza (so a doctor recently told me); I've talked to a number of elderly people who were frightened to death (no pun defended) to go outside after dusk.

OR terror cells in the area were waiting for a vile fed exed from a cave or palace...

See my post #9. I'd be interesting in knowing about the 1930's connection. Many bizzare chemical experiments went on back then. I'm not implying here that it was intentional, just haphazard at times.

Also noted on the map the outbreaks travel along water routes. Makes nothing but sense to me, mosquitoes + water = breeding. Duh

It is a natural occurance. It is not a man-made or human made virus. It was first found in Uganda in 1937. It is an Arbovirus. Arbovirus are viruses spread from blood feeding insects.

A woman was the first one to that they isolated in 1937 on the West Nile of Uganda. That means it could have been around for many many years before.

Looks like the West Nile Virus Map needs updated.****
West Nile reaches West Coast
ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- The number of human cases of West Nile virus reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has risen to 954, including an infection in a California woman that marks the first emergence of the mosquito-borne malady on the West Coast, the agency announced Saturday.
Los Angeles County health officials said Friday it was "highly likely" that the case of a young woman who developed meningitis in August but later recovered was due to West Nile. They are still investigating three other reported cases in the county that could be West Nile.

That's old news.

Ohio has the largest case last I read the local section pf paper (but I have been working alot and have not stayed up to date. That is part of the reason I am started this thread.
I think it was 2 summers ago (I also live in the stix) Blue birds were dropping dead out of the air like mad.

I don't know that the maps are THAT convincing for me. But I didn't need convinced in the first place. It seems exceedingly logical given all we know about Iraq etc. that West Nile is terrorism.
Evidently it's not convenient for the government to acknowledge this. If they don't know it, someone is incompetent IMHO. If they know it and are avoiding admitting it for silly reasons, shame on them.
