Two Illegal Immigrants Shot To Death In Pinal County
KOLD-TV ^ | October 16, 2002 | Staff

Pinal County authorities are looking for a man who opened fire on a group of illegal immigrants in a desert area near Red Rock Wednesday afternoon. Two were killed, and an unknown amount of others were injuried.

Investigators say a group of at least 12 immigrants were gathered at a stock pond when somebody drove up, got out of the vehicle, and opened fire. Some of the immigrants were able to run for cover. A helicopter was looking for other survivors Wednesday night, but had found nothing. Authorities are now shifting their focus towards finding the gunman.

Shell casings from a rifle and handgun were found at the scene. The immigrants have given a description of the man to authorities, but information is still coming slowly, due to the language barrier.

Deputies do not believe the shooting is related to "wildcat" shooters, who commonly use the area for target practice.

It's amazing how the authorities are "shifting their focus" on catching the gunman, but are not doing a thing about the illegal alien problem

That was my first thought as well.

I'm sure that the illegal aliens traumatized victims are even now being escorted back to their homeland enjoying some of the generous hospitality the gov't is known for...

The liberals are going to find an angry white man that's responsible for one of these crimes, even if they have to frame one.

It was just a matter of time before this happened.

And obviously so. If the Illegals continue to colonize America unabated, shootings like this will become tragically more commonplace.

Amnesty won't stop it; doing nothing won't stop it; only positive action against Illegals by our government will prevent this... and worse.

When governments fail to uphold the just laws of the land and follow the will of the people thereby, vigilantes will arise, attempting to take the law into their own hands.

Illegal aliens are a powder keg.

Don't know where the stock tank is, but Red Rock is the exit off of I-10, about 7 miles SE of Picacho Peak, that leads to the AZ ANG Training Site and Pinal Air Park.

Evergreen Air used to have facilities in that area as well. Probably not related...

How does "illegal alien" translate into "immigrant". There is no such thing as an "illegal immigrant", by definition. If you are an illegal then you are not an immigrant.

Whoever is charged with this 'criminal act' needs me on the jury.
