LEGENDARY rockers Led Zeppelin are set to re-group after 22 years for a money-spinning stadium tour of America.
The three surviving members singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones plan to hit the road next summer.
The trio hope to pocket £6.4million for the shows.
Robert, 54, Jimmy, 58, and 56-year-old John Paul met two weeks ago at the offices of their management firm Trinifold.
They buried the hatchet over Page and Plants 1990s tour, which John Paul only learned about from a newspaper.
A band insider said last night: If the right offer comes up they will do it.
Trinifold added: Jimmy is itching to do something, but there is nothing firm yet.
Zeppelin split in 1980 after a booze binge killed drummer John Bonham.
His son Jason is set to play drums on the tour.
The band, famed for songs like Stairway to Heaven and Whole Lotta Love, are second only to the Beatles in worldwide album sales.
They still hold records for crowds at their 1970s concerts.
A music industry insider said: They had so many hits that I am sure the reunion would be a major success.

KEEPING UP WITH THE STONES'ES...
Played in New Orleans are bands from 1960's to 1988...at 32, a family & 2nd chance to learn why stuff worked(electrical engineering at college) after fixing stuff for 15 years motivated me to "park" it(playing in bands/never home/etc) and spend years being a Dad instead of "that guy who sleeps all day" or "is never home" or "is as clueless as Ozzie" or " you fill it in "
Raising and teaching my children FAR EXCEEDS ANY over-sized bank account and my ego fits in a baseball cap.
The "getting old" happens to all of us blessed with waking up everyday.....it seems to happen faster to those "in the fast lane"...as does the room temperature event...

As a proud owner of the Led Zepplin 10-CD Box set, I implore the band members: Don't do this. Try to save some dignity and not be like the Rolling Stones, or the Grateful Dead, or any of those loser 80's bands that are now playing old songs in smarmy casinos.
You went out on top (well, except John Bonham) -- stay that way.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I scrolled down the furthest on mesmerizing page and it said Jimmy Page followed Crowley- a satanist, and was into the occult. My dad said "it was devil music" and to "turn it down"
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Anyway, been meaning to tell you. I sent my -same as me-warped sense of humor- sister HEIDI'S page and she reacted just like your hole friends!!! Go figure.
To: HairOfTheDog
Yes and then read the satan worshipisters part on FAQ part ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

I saw them in '77 at the L.A. Forum, and my ears are still ringing to this day. (It was a great show though). I had tickets to see them again in '79, but Bonham died a couple weeks before the show, and they broke up (as they should've).
21st century geezer rock is a freakin' joke.

I didn't know there was a Jason, did you? They can get away with that then... if he can play!

Agree with you on the best concert (I saw them the first 4 times they toured in US). Close, but not quite, were The Who, Hendrix, Joplin, and the Airplane.
BTW, first Led Zep US tour was early 1969, right when the 1st album was released in the states.

I love their music, they broke up when I was 10. I'd pay $1000. I don't care about their age, they are incredible musicians. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME TO SAN ANTONIO.
To: HairOfTheDog
No I didn't. Yes they can and I would go see them but I hear nowadays concerts are 12 bucks a beer and conforming and weird.

I saw him locally and to tell yhou the truth, he's not his dad. But then he was also trying to be lead singer of BONHAM. He wasn't aweful at all.
If he accepts his role as percussion he will be very good.

Stop beating yourself up.... Heidi is ROTFLMAO funny.
Let me check my brother!
Ramius.... Tell us what you think of Heidi's Bathroom.
This is the right side of the medicine cabinet. I just threw out the lotion that is orange colored. It smells bad and doesn't work good for me.

Who cares. He looks like an old hippie. Thankfully I outgrew my enjoyment of his music years ago. What a waste of a human being.
