The last time I checked, John Bonham was still dead. Hey, the Stones still tour and Keith Richards has been dead for twenty years now. Take one look at him and tell me he isn't...

He looks a bit like the Colin Baker Doctor (#6).
He also looks a bit like Micheal Caine.

To this day, the best concert I've ever seen was Led Zepplin (on their first tour), in the Filmore/west, in San Francisco, must have been in the early 70's. ("Been a long time, been a long time....")

"What do you want to bet tickets will be close to $100?"At $100 it will be a steal. I'm betting they'll be closer to $250. I mean, its Led Zeppelin after all, minus Bonzo. Without him, it won't be the same, but it will be close. Say what you will about the Beatles, I certainly love them, but I'd be more inclined to take in Jimmy Page at this point than Paul McCartney.
Hope they come to Detroit!

Im a huge Zep fan but it really is waaaayyy past the time they should be doing this.
Last time I saw Jimmy Page he looked like Elvis in '77. I'm skeptical but I'd pay the $100 to see them together in concert again.

Wonderful news. I think it's great that Robert Plant's great-grandchildren will be able to see him perform live in concert.

HEADBANGERS OF THE WORLD, ARISE!!!
Seriously, the Zeppelin was one of my favorite bands, and rumors of a reunion have swirled for 20 years. It would be nice if they pulled it off.
Hey, it worked for KISS, the Stones, The Who, and a host of OTHER bands. It seems that whatever breaks them up in their binge days is less important as they get more mature and sense their own mortality.
Only six million pounds? LOL. A Zep reunion will pocket a LOT more than that, believe me.

Love these guys..........
Their fourth album is what defines the term "classic". BRILLIANT work.

Personally I think Bonham might smell a bit raw. But that's just my opinion.

100 might get you nosebleed seats. It's ok, they'd be worth more than that to me! :-)

The last time I checked, John Bonham was still dead. So what? They'll hire Keith Moon or somebody like that!

I think it's great that Robert Plant's great-grandchildren will be able to see him perform live in concert. LOl. They're getting up there in age but I'd pay money to see them no matter. They bring back a lot of good memories from my time growing up in the seventies.

Well, we can't have Elvis singing My Way and Feelings, so Led Zep doing Stairway to Heaven will have to do!

Yes, Robert Plant was my heart-throb when I was in my teens. [sigh...] So much so, that I collected pictures of his belly-button for a collage on my wall. :-)
My husband and I went to see Page & Plant on tour a few years ago. They were great. Older, of course, but still great.
