Guess: the cutting edge is missing from the frame.
I wondered that myself but saw that they said "...believed to be....", indicating something there not yet identified, not "...believed to have been....", indicating something that used to be there but no longer is.

The Berry Island area can be seen on the map to the left, highlighted in the red area. The Berry Islands consist of approximately 12 square miles of surface area to the North of Andros Island. Recently an incredible find has been made via satellite imagery of what appears to be an enormous terraformed triangular area under the water off of the Berry Islands.
This triangular feature appears to have been artificially created, due to it's unnatural shape.
View the images below of this incredible feature. Could this be evidence for a lost civilization?

"Is this striking triangular feature evidence of terraforming on a cyclopean megalithic scale? What was the purpose of this triangular depressed area?" I'm reeaal suspicious of articles that ask me to answer the questions.
Example: "Could these three unusual marks in this field be where the UFO's landed."

>you were telling me were from the Altai mountain region?
Hmmm. I thought you were telling me about it? You are the resident expert on the subject of what happened EAST of the Caucasus mountains. {ggg}.

The Altaics I thought you had told me that some of the folks you follow were associated with this region at one time. (some connection?)
