PING!
I dunno, but it looks like Dubya had a late night. I bet he was briefed constantly about the bombing in Indonesia. He looks very tired and worried.

He does look worried. What a burden he's carrying these days! Laura looks as beautiful as ever.

Thanks for the ping. Nice post, Rintense.

I see we all agree, Laura looks beautiful, the President seems concerned about something. I suppose he does have a whole lot on his plate. The war on Terror, the Iraq stuff, the Congress Rats bashing, etc etc.
Pray for him even harder gals, he looks like he needs it!

He looks like he is trying to protect Laura from a sniper. He has a very protective arm around her instead of holding her hand. Got to be worried about the idiot running around there, too.

Thanks for these rintense. I'm just checking in for a minute before daughter #2 steals the computer for a school project.
It makes me even more dedicated to praying for this fine man and his wife when I see how troubled he looks.
Thank You Lord for George W. Bush, Your servant.....for equipping him so perfectly for the task to which You have called him. Give him strength, wisdom and comfort as he leads this great nation in obedience to Your will. Bless his lovely wife, Laura, and their marriage, that it might be a fortress and haven for him with the enormous load he carries. In the strong name of Christ I pray, Amen.

Psalm 85
Prayer that the LORD Will Restore Favor to the Land
1 LORD, You have been favorable to Your land;
You have brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people;
You have covered all their sin.Selah
3You have taken away all Your wrath;
You have turned from the fierceness of Your anger.
4Restore us, O God of our salvation,
And cause Your anger toward us to cease.
5Will You be angry with us forever?
Will You prolong Your anger to all generations?
6Will You not revive us again,
That Your people may rejoice in You?
7Show us Your mercy, LORD,
And grant us Your salvation.
8I will hear what God the LORD will speak,
For He will speak peace
To His people and to His saints;
But let them not turn back to folly.
9Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him,
That glory may dwell in our land.
10Mercy and truth have met together;
Righteousness and peace have kissed.
11Truth shall spring out of the earth,
And righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12Yes, the LORD will give what is good;
And our land will yield its increase.
13Righteousness will go before Him,
And shall make His footsteps our pathway.

What a nice bonus, a Sunday Dose :)
I agree, the President does look tired. His eyes look a little red rimmed in a couple of pictures. What a blessing for all of us that he is a man with a deep and abiding faith. He carries such a burden these days. I'm often reminded of a piece by Peggy Noonan endorsing him just before the election in 2000. Her closing statement was:
'The next president may well be forced to sheperd us through the first nuclear event since World War II, the first terrorist attack or missile attack....the Big Terrible Thing is coming...If we must go through a terrible time, a modest man of good faith is the one we'll need in charge. That is George Walker Bush, governor of Texas.' Peggy Noonan, 2 Nov 2000
